That picture is seriously deceptive! Living in the US, I had to do measurement conversion to figure out that that’s not the 5″ Capaldi figure!

Not really, given that we know that the other ones Capaldi is pictured with are 3.75″.

      July 25th, 2014 - 7:45pm

No I agree with Jevon Robinson, given it’s bigger than the others (sized more like 5″) and they’ve put it in cm instead of the usual inches, I wouldn’t blame anyone for thinking it’s 5″. Rather misleading in my opinion. especially if your not an avid collector.

As I’ve said, to a non avid collector of merchandise who is buying these figure and may not know about the prices or different ranges and sizes etc… they are slightly misleading in my opinion.

To be honest I am not impressed with the decision to reduce the size of the new series dr who range down from 5 inches to 3.75 inches. I can understand why it is being done from a business point of view but I have seen them and I think the 3.75 inch range do not look as good as or as good quality as previously done with the 5 inch range. No thanks I wont be buying the 3.75 inch range.

      July 25th, 2014 - 7:41pm

Nope he checked the entire toy section of the catalogue and sadly nothing. I wish there was something. I guess it could appear on the Argos website before the catalogue as they sometimes add a page at the last minute for some things.

For a moment I thought that 12th Doctor was a 12 inch figure, then 5 inch, then thought “WOW! what a great 3.75 inch figure! Hang on I thought he wasn’t due yet?”

    Either way he’s great!

It’s also good they’ve sculpted his crombie with the top button done up, as opposed to most customisers I’ve seen who leave it undone
It helps distinguish it from 11’s Frock Coat
