Destroyer of Worlds
July 18th, 2014 - 5:03pmDoes anyone know what the back cover looks like?
ZygonVisuals
July 18th, 2014 - 4:47pmif i could decide wave 4 i would have
remembrance dalek
dalek oswin
12 in costume
war doctor
8th doctor(Dark Eyes)
jenny, vastra and strax (collector set)
The Other
July 18th, 2014 - 5:11pmGood, but Dark Eyes 8th Doctor should be 5″, to go with the rest of the classics
TheWarDoctor
July 18th, 2014 - 4:44pmQuestion, How many Daleks is everyone getting? Im getting at least 2 of each
The Other
July 18th, 2014 - 5:14pm2, maybe 3 Asylum Daleks
Not sure about the Genesis Dalek, since I’m happy with the 5″ versions I already have (not to mention that eye groove)
TheWarDoctor
July 18th, 2014 - 5:34pmYeah but your 5″ dont go with the 3.75″
The Big Friendly Button
July 18th, 2014 - 8:45pmIt depends, I might get four as there has ever only been four moving Daleks on screen at once. But still the genesis Daleks are one of my favourite Dalek designs overall. In terms of asylum then maybe five as I remember seeing five of them pursuing Rory.
the astronaut of death
July 18th, 2014 - 9:51pmthe reason they changed the scale in the first plaice is because retailers did just not want the 5 inch figures anymore
RORY DOCTOR RIVER POND
July 18th, 2014 - 4:31pmamy looks better but still doesn’t look like gill an. Whats with the red base?
Wooden Cyberman
July 18th, 2014 - 4:38pmThey just wanted to change the colour :3
Destroyer of Worlds
July 18th, 2014 - 3:56pmBooboo will they release Vastra, Strax, Jenny and River Song in 3.75?
booboo
July 18th, 2014 - 3:57pmyou never know, they are in series 8
Anonymous
July 18th, 2014 - 5:21pmI reckon Vastra, Strax, Jenny will be an exclusive set…it wouldn’t suprise me if they are 5 inch.
The Twelfth Doctor
July 18th, 2014 - 3:43pmPersonally, if I were head of development, I would’ve chosen;
Tenth Doctor
Amy Pond
Asylum Dalek
Genesis Dalek
Twelfth Doctor Regenerated with top button of his shirt buttoned and black waistcoat with gold chain
Eleventh Doctor in tweed with blue bow tie
New figures which means a lot more will sell, and still costs way less to make than a brand new figure.

July 18th, 2014 - 3:26pmThese look pretty good, here a video which shows of the new Wave – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7keIwHCNy58

July 18th, 2014 - 3:01pmFBI doesn’t get stock until the end of next month, I may wait till shops gets them, also booboo do you know if the 10th dr with no coat figure is still going to be a chase figure as shown at the toy fair ?
TheWarDoctor
July 18th, 2014 - 3:03pmRare in the next wave I believe
Exterminator
July 18th, 2014 - 3:04pmI’m guessing that the rare 10th dr in suit figure from the toy fair will be part of the next wave.
booboo
July 18th, 2014 - 3:32pmno idea what’s happening on that
Anonymous
July 18th, 2014 - 3:40pmwill we be able to buy from toys r us soon or toymasters as i am going to my caravan this weekend do you think there will be early stock?
PheebsegirlFA
July 18th, 2014 - 3:42pmsoz i forgot my name
Exterminator
July 18th, 2014 - 2:56pmThe bright yellow packaging and red stands will be very eye catching to kids in toy shops. It’s very clever.
doctor who crazy ross
July 18th, 2014 - 2:46pmIm annoyed. Out of all of the figures that they could have released, we could have had somone like Madame vastra or the war doctor, but no.. Instead we get a re-released twelfth and eleventh doctors in packaging that looks like it has been designed by a three year old. And don’t get me started on those red stands.
very disappointing.
ahunter8056
July 18th, 2014 - 2:10pmIt puzzles me as to why the Eleventh Doctor and Regenerated Twelfth Doctor are being re-released already, considering that they were both part of the last wave.
In my opinion the packaging looks a bit cheap and tracky.
booboo
July 18th, 2014 - 2:16pmas i have explained, its probably because Argos have taken this wave, they didn’t have the 12th Doctor and that brings him to whole new customer base
everyone needs to realise the Vast majority of buyers are casual ones who may not even realise there was a 12th doctor figures because it wasn’t in Argos
They are the only store left which is represented on most hight streets and likely to stock a full range
Dalekmus Prime
July 18th, 2014 - 2:10pmI’m not very fond of this new packaging, and I think I hate those red display stands. However, these figures do look good, and I wouldn’t mind getting all of them.
Radburn
July 18th, 2014 - 1:53pmCome on BBC Shop! Pull ‘yer finger out & get it all listed ~ I’ve got money waiting…
booboo
July 18th, 2014 - 2:00pmwe are just trying to find out now

July 18th, 2014 - 1:40pmPackaging is an eyesore
Trenzalore
July 18th, 2014 - 1:21pmI really love the packaging on this. A few other things with the yellow packaging like the Dalek patrol ship doesn’t look good but it sort of suites this, although the figures look a little too big for the packaging.
Again, don’t like the red holders (what are they thinking 😕 )
ParadigmDalek1325
July 18th, 2014 - 1:08pmI was hoping that the 12th Doctor in his official costume would be released this wave, but I guess we can wait a bit longer! The Genesis Dalek looks pretty good for its size and I do like the 10th and Amy Pond in this wave. Good wave for me.
The Mr Master
July 18th, 2014 - 12:43pmPersonally, i don’t understand the disappointment. I think these look great!
The Twelfth Doctor
July 18th, 2014 - 12:45pmI agree!
Anonymous
July 18th, 2014 - 12:47pmI think people are dissopinted mainly down to the Amys face sculpt it is very inaccurate
Trenzalore
July 18th, 2014 - 1:16pmNot inaccurate just room for improvement. A lot of this ranges first figures aren’t good but they’ve usually improved it in another wave.
WhereInTimeAndSpace
July 18th, 2014 - 1:35pmRemember that the 5 inch Amy was not all that good too.
Infofreak
July 18th, 2014 - 3:11pmMy 5″ Amy is just like Karen
the astronaut of death
July 18th, 2014 - 12:40pmbooboo are they not doing the heritage line ?
booboo
July 18th, 2014 - 12:42pmno idea why they started that and have not carried it on – maybe due to BBC branding
The Twelfth Doctor
July 18th, 2014 - 12:36pmOkay, I’ve given this wave some thought, and I’ve decided that I’m pleased with it. The fact that we are even getting a Classic Dalek is amazing, and I’m pleased that these are all figures from past series that wouldn’t have been made if the 3.75″ were only going to be from 7B onwards. The new packaging I also love, and red is my favourite colour so these are my favourite stands 😆 . Overall, I’ll try to pick all the new figures up, and I hope I’ll be able to get them at Argos in the coming weeks. 🙂

July 18th, 2014 - 12:46pmbooboo are these figures the same price how much ?
The Twelfth Doctor
July 18th, 2014 - 12:47pm£6.99. Any particular reason why you replied to my post?
the astronaut of death
July 18th, 2014 - 12:51pmI think £6.99 is good for these because I will be only buying two and that is only £14
how much were the 5 inch ones
The Twelfth Doctor
July 18th, 2014 - 12:53pmApparently if the 5″ figures had continued they would have been around £10 – £12 a figure.
Doctor Stu
July 18th, 2014 - 12:26pmThey come out a week after my birthday so I know what my birthday money’s gonna be spent on…..
the astronaut of death
July 18th, 2014 - 12:22pmso booboo where not getting a 12th dr is costum yet?
booboo
July 18th, 2014 - 12:23pmno, next wave when the show has aired i would image
the astronaut of death
July 18th, 2014 - 12:25pmoh alright
Doctor Stu
July 18th, 2014 - 12:30pmBack when series 3 was on, we got a wave after the first couple of episodes had aired and then more waves as the series progressed, there were enough characters from each epsidoe that were released and now there has only been 3 waves in the space of like however long it’s been
booboo
July 18th, 2014 - 12:32pmyep and a lot of those are still on the pegs in stores
this is a basic “safe” toy line now
toys in general are not selling anything like they did
Stop that TARDIS
July 18th, 2014 - 1:03pmIt say 3a remember
Infofreak
July 18th, 2014 - 3:15pm5″ is better and these 3″ ones still have rubish choices!! what about a Whisperman, War Doctor,Madame Vastra etc, Amy and 10 are ok but is Amy really needed now?…. I think they need to go back to 5″ and sort the packaging out!! co you will lose this line in no time at this rate!!!
the astronaut of death
July 18th, 2014 - 12:19pmI am only getting the Amy and tenth doctor and maybe the asylum dalek
why are they rereleasing the 12th doctor
and I don’t like those red stands when they were in the packaging of the 50th set they looked terrible
and I don’t like the packaging it looks to childish and bright
booboo
July 18th, 2014 - 12:22pmwhether we like it or not, the main market for these toys are children
the “core” purchasers that frequent forums and the like make up only a small % of sales
the astronaut of death
July 18th, 2014 - 12:24pmyeah I suppose
but they could make the packaging a bit more doctor whoish
booboo
July 18th, 2014 - 12:26pmits has to conform to the BBC style guides
The Other
July 18th, 2014 - 12:51pmI’m 16, but I still love the packaging!!!
It’s nice and eye catching, as opposed to the dreary blue we’re used to
Radburn
July 18th, 2014 - 12:17pmSo all over the place as usual? No continuation of the ‘Heritage Line’ description just Classic Dalek now? The Short Wave has changed to Wave 3A & bunged in a couple of re-releases?
Would be SO NICE if these companies could release proper details & pictures of the Products they wish to sell…

Exterminator
July 18th, 2014 - 11:14amThe “rare” 10th Dr in suit should be in wave 3b.
