OMG! i though wave 2 was an improvement from 1. But this one looks to be going backwards again! The daleks are daleks and will always look the same. as for the two i was excited to see, the 10th doctor, looks very plain and the detail is not so great, and Amy look hideous! no likeness, and whats up with her arms! i think i will pass on this wave completely!

I think they have not put the series 8 monsters in because they don’t want to spoil it

Where is character building when you need them. I’m not to keen on the 3.75 inch details but CB figures were just getting good last year. That snowmen doctor is dead on. Then the range they showed at toy fair looks awesome. I would guess if they were to release that they would update some monsters and have capaldi in the Crombie coat. The tardis interior also looked good. It’ll be a shame if those figures shown off aren’t made. I’m holding out hope for them to appear in sept same time as series and the last few waves have appeared.

Walgreens are hitting hard with exclusives this year. They already announced having an exclusive in both Marvel Legends (Agent Venom) and 6″ Star Wars Black Series (Concept Boba Fett).

Love them all except Amy. It looks like her Arms are about to pop off. Its sad how the classic dalek is US only. I hope not all of the 3.75 classics are US. Amys face looks like after Amy and Rory split up. Rory ran over her with a truck carrying the Cyberking.

I know America gets to see everything first. Bit like the whole harry potter scenario, where America and japan has the Wizarding world of harry potter and the UK doesn’t. Even the DVDs were released early in America, it was a mistake I know but still….

its is big, but maybe that had to do that the make the eye stronger

remember these are toys and they have to pass certain standards

I know, but considering we British people pay for the show to be made, we should at least get all the same merchandise as America. And I was mainly commenting on how it seems strange for a pharmacy to be selling an exclusive figure

    Wave one was pretty good
Wave two was also pretty good quality, only problem was repeats.
this is my least favourite. the promo images of the other waves had likeness to the characters (Clara) amy and number 10 dont have any resemblance, and in comparison to 5″ these are just terrible with more repeats
Also, weird place to sell them

    Well, interesting at least:
    10’s paint (face) needs improving

    Amy’s pretty good

Genesis Dalek is good but I’m put of by the hugely oversized eye groove

    Asylum Dalek is amazing!!!

Hopefully we’ll see the 12th Doctor soon!

Yeah I thought that Booboo, these pics never do justice to the figures
The Genesis Dalek eye groove is still far too large though

Why ‘Walgreens’? From the site it doesn’t look like the kind of place that sells exclusive figures before anyone else. Really confused 😕

I think Walgreens are trying to take a larger piece of the toy market. Coming soon the have exclusive Star Wars and Marvel figures. And now they are taking on Doctor Who. Of course this doesn’t really matter to people in the UK. These figures will be getting a UK release.

  • Jamie

    July 17th, 2014 - 4:52pm

People in the Uk don’t need to worry, these will be available. Argos will certainly have them, in fact they have already been sent them for the new catalogue.

Tenth Doctor looks like something from eaglemoss. Doesn’t looks too good to be honest. And what does it mean exclusive to ‘Walgreens’ (never heard of it, sounds like a garden centre 😆 )
Still I think it will sell well this wave (so long as it’s not exclusive)
