The very presence of an alien disproves it as The Gunfighters was a historical story, which is something we are completely missing in modern Doctor Who (the last historical story was in 1982 everything else is the so-called “pseudo-historical”).

March 10th, 2012 - 6:40pmThe card’s stats listed relate to The Last Centurion, not Roman Rory although going by the descritpion it should be the Auton Rory card (although it wouldn’t make any difference to the outcome either way).

March 10th, 2012 - 12:01pmFor some reason, I think the test set isn’t worth it. I know that it’s very rare now, but there’s not many diffirences. For example, the back of the cards have Bronze Daleks instead of the new Pure DNA Daleks.

Equally Madame Vastra isn’t an alien, she’s from Earth much as any human is and the Doctor is possibly half-human but he’s been in it three times.

And Madame Vastra’s race were born on Earth, but that doesn’t mean there half-human!! THERE HOMO REPTELIA (I think I spelt that right)!!

March 10th, 2012 - 3:14pmNo it is not. I have the magazine at hand, the stats from the slamdown match card 217 The Last Centurion (A Good Man Goes to War) not 108 Roman Rory (The Big Bang).
Also, it is the Doctor who is possibly half-human, Madame Vastra is not an alien or part human, she is a Silurian which as the Doctor once put it is an “Earthlien” not alien.
They can put whatever they want in the slamdown at the end of the day, they don’t really expect the readers to pay much attention to it, although going by the article it was 108 they were wanting not 217.
