There are 52 fortnightly issues to collect. Part 1 is £1.50, thereafter it’s £2.60 though you can also buy the card packs separately at retail at £1.50 per pack of nine cards.

Doctor Who Monster Invasion Extreme is the second set and contains 180 new cards featuring all the latest monsters, characters and adventures from the series, and includes a new and truly terrifying lenticular infinite card. This brings a combined total of 345 cards.

October 12th, 2011 - 9:02pmYes to get the ‘Amy Card’ you do have to subscribe. It’s just a way to make more money because they know people like to have a complete set. To get a full set they are making you subscribe and making you buy TWO tins.

October 11th, 2011 - 4:25pmTo anyone whos interested, yesterday I emailed DWMI asking them when they would open the single trading card section on their site shop. They replied:
Hi,
Thank you for your email.
We currently have no fixed plans to sell single cards. As the site says, we may introduce this option in the future, and if we do, we will let readers know through the DWMI email newsletter.
If you do not currently receive the newsletter, let us know and we will add you to our email list.

October 10th, 2011 - 6:54pmI think we can expect a “Battles In Time” scenario with at least another 3 – Maybe 4 – Card Sets. Obviously we have the last couple of Series 6 Episodes to feature with no doubt a good mix of the Classic/New Dr Who as well.

October 10th, 2011 - 11:56amYeah I got rory last Tuesday and then my subscription copy came Thursday. I kept ringing my mum up at lunchtimes to ask whether it had cone and when I found out on Thursday it had I was excited. Then I had to get through French!! Do you have any of the cards? 🙂
