Mezco Nemo Underwater cabin control

Diaramas and playsets

A new section where we will post images and information on dioramas and playsets suitable for Doctor Who figures.

Mezco Nemo cabin control

You can search for this this product at www.ebay.co.uk

Part of the Mezco 20,000 leagues under the sea figure range, this diorama/playset makes a fantastic backdrop for figures associated with underwater settings such as Sea Devils or Zygons.

The set seems to be available on occasions at a reasonable price in the USA but scarce in the UK. As its a large set, postage costs form the USA add greatly to the overall price.

The superb 3rd Doctor from the 11 Doctors box set looks well an truly at home…

nemo1

Sea Devils take pride of place in this underwater setting…

nemo2

With care the background behind the large sea window can be changed…

nemo5

Zygons look particularly impressive…

nemo6

Many useful accessories are included. The set contains a gridded floor, 2 back walls, a side wall to the left and wrought iron effect trellis to the right. There are also 3 (one very large) sea windows.

I picked up a Cabin Control Nemo off eBay last week for the grand sum of 99p! I also got the Waverider for about £12 from Amazon (I wanted some of the accessories). I’ll be using this plus the Buffy library to build my custom console room over the coming months!

Its a stone effect spray paint, they do it in different colours inc grey, if they don’t bring it out as a figure i might have a go myself.

Canyon rock or Santa Fe Sand looks like it might do the job.. i think you would need a coat of grey primer first.

Dont know what this is, but theres a Haemovre on the window! SPeaking of repaints, I want to repaint a Sixth Doctor, quite an easy job,the Blue strand he wears, red instead. Ofcourse, you would have to wait for it to dry then put white spots back on. I dont know if anyone else R(ealised)T(his) but with afew extra Gold parts on one of the Bronze Daleks (the Boxy Cubey ones can all burn) and instead of Bronze, White and where there are metal and or black, instead there is more gold then youve got yourself nothing Short of a Dalek Imperial. gig

yep i saw the USA ones but there’s no way i’d pay that amount for postage, i’d rather use the money for something nearer home, it is amazing how much some people will pay for figures etc off ebay, most i ever went was 25 quid for a pota figure
