fecking hell, so much negativity..cant say im surprised all the americans are saying the same thing in reverse love star trek hate doctor who, some douche even went as far to say that the daleks were a rip-off of R2D2.

Im super excited loving both franchises I’ve got and read issue 1 which was a little disappointing but its only issue 1 its establishing the story..

If I had ever watched Star Trek then I might consider it but I haven’t so t should not happen on TV. In comics, I’m not bothered because I don’t generally read them!

Comic crossovers between different franchises are really common. Lots of people *love* these crossovers, but plenty of people like yourself do not. You won’t miss anything vital by not reading these, and they’re not going to start making crossover episodes.

This is something special for fans of both series. Plus some people who love Star Trek, may not have watched any/much Doctor Who, and this comic might make them want to watch it. The same goes for Doctor Who fans – I imagine many of the younger fans in particular have never seen Star Trek.

you may not like star trek but if you like dr who you may find star trek better with some doctor who stuff added.

    star wars: yes
    star trek: no
i am not a tekie so i dissaprove, but i must say it is unusual for doctor who to mix with another show, the only other shows it has mixed with is actualy bi-porducts of itself
    i.e: torchwood
now a c-3po-cyberman crossover is what i would want to see.

If your not a Trekkie then can’t disapprove! It’s simple as that, because you can’t judge what was MADE FOR THE FANS!

Although I am a massive Who fan, I am also a Trekie, big time. So if they did make a crossover it would my idea of TV heaven! BTW if it ever does happen I’m sure BooBoo would know about it!!!

I wonder if they’ll do it as the doctor and his companions entering another universe in which star trek is real.

That would be very cool or I wonder if TNG goes to the Whoniverse? Where in that world Doctor Who is real.

Nice! I’ve got the whole series on preorder from a “Previews” comic store. I’ve asked for all cover variants, so I’m looking forward to seeing what they manage to get in.

(Last time I checked there were 3 covers for issue 1).

Hey Booboo, sorry it’s off topic, but if you look at Character website, they ave updated the figure page with the Cybermen figures by adding new logo bubbles next to them.

So they have changed the logo/packaging design slightly? Does this mean we may be getting more waves!?

I haven’t been to the CO store for awhile. I was a bit shocked to see only 8 (non-pandorica) current figures left to order in the range. 😯 Goodness, I thought they’d be around a bit longer than that.

I haven’t bought the 2 silent with lightning hands yet… I’ve had *no* luck finding them in Australia, and I was waiting for the April releases so I could order everthing from CO at once (international shipping kind of prevents small orders).

*Sigh* Looks like I’ll have to head over to eBay again. >_<

I’m not a big fan of the Star Trek series’ either so I think this was a stupid idea…

I’m never up for crossovers… Even though the concept is really cool e.g. WhoLock (Doctor Who/Sherlock) I reckon all the things you could put with Doctor Who will have been or will be mentioned in one show or the other at one point!

To me, crossovers only work when the shows are linked, E.G Doctor Who and The Sarah Jane Adventures, but when they’re not it just seems kind of wrong. The only real link between Doctor Who and Star Trek is that they’re both Sci-Fi.

After this, they should try out an idea I came up with 3 years ago called AVD : ALIEN VS DALEK. The video links are my video on how the films title sequence could look, while the other is a movie trailer for my idea produced by Rick Kelvington after he was blown away by my video –
