Disney Consumer Products’ Star Wars won four awards, while Hot Topic took home Retailer of the Year for Doctor Who. For the first time, a European venue was selected as the winner of the Location-Based/Experiential Initiative Award – AMC and Parque de Atracciones de Madrid (Striker Entertainment) took home the trophy for its The Walking Dead walk-through attraction.
Winners in 20 categories were announced during LIMA’s annual awards program, held at the 2016 Licensing Expo at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Las Vegas.
