The piece is part of my Edge Sculpture range … http://www.edgesculpture.com .. we at Robert Harrop Designs LTD, a family run business also make this type of piece … or rather have done for the last four years since we launched Edge.

The BBC gave me permission to sculpt the Cyberman in this contemporary art style when I put forward the notion after a previous conversation regarding our new Doctor Who Collectible range. I was very flattered by their enthusiasm for the idea of the piece and basically couldn’t wait to sculpt it .. their only caveat was that it should be the latest variant.

He is possibly larger than 1:1 and is by design ravaged, distressed, worn, aggressive and intimidating. Also with a ambient light source can look especially eerie as with the other Edge Busts and Figures.

    all the very best Matt

It looks like what would happen if one of the new Cybermen got caught in the blast from the Pandora.

Would’ve been nice for this to be based on handles or something.

My dad’s got a wolf version of this on his desk.

It’s a style of statue. A sort of geometric style.
