Sutekh, also known as Sutekh the Destroyer, destroyed his home planet Phaester Osiris and left a trail of destruction across half the galaxy. Variations of Sutekh’s name include Set, Satan and Sadok and are abhorred in every civilised world. Sutekh’s brother Horus and the remaining seven hundred forty Osirans tracked Sutekh to Egypt and used their powers to imprison him in the Black Pyramid for 7,000 years.
Gold Mummy From ‘Pyramids of Mars’ 1975:
- Designed, Sculpted and Made in Shropshire, England by Harrop Buckley Designs Ltd.
- Traditionally Hand Sculpted by Mike Rogers.
- Official BBC License. The figurine has been approved by the Doctor Who television production team at the BBC.

In partnership with the BBC, we have meticulously hand sculpted a range of 1:12 scale, hand cast and hand painted Doctor Who figurines, each made to strict Worldwide Limited Editions.
As a mark of provenance, each Limited Edition figurine will be numbered with a unique Edition Number and will come packaged in a presentation box with an Information Card and Certificate of Authenticity!

June 28th, 2024 - 2:25pmI think it would be true to say that some are bought purely and simply to sell on a well known auction site.
I have been a collector of Robert Harrop figurines for over 24 years and I have had to resort to the well known auction site in order to fill gaps in the collection. However, the sellers were fairly reasonable and I often bought figurines for “ just over” the original selling price when Harrop sold in retailers. However, with the current format – first come first served it does seem unfair to true collectors as unless you have access to the website at the launch date and time it is often the case, as with these pieces, that they sell out and therefore have little option to buy at inflated prices.

I also started collecting the Gerry Anderson range and I agree, they are much missed.
I am a fan of the classic Dr Who figures as I was brought up on the black and white “hide behind the sofa” classic Dr Who stories and also the golden age of Gerry Anderson so Robert Harrop collections bring back a lot of childhood memories.

June 30th, 2024 - 12:31pmThe next two the Monoid and the Garm look excellent. The Garm is superb and totally unexpected – and of course never released by anyone else. Hoping the Monoid paves the way for more Hartnell era releases.

June 30th, 2024 - 4:34pmI would like them to make a Chumbley but I’d love a Drahvin even more. A War Machine in Scale would be Great aswell. Can’t believe they haven’t made more Hartnell figures already such as a Sensorite. (Very Popular plus easier to make).

June 29th, 2024 - 2:54pmDoctor Mysterio, I can’t see the Fifth Doctor being made this year. If I’m honest I can’t see there being anymore reveals for this Year. If you look at the Interactive List on this site, for Years Harrops have only been getting out Five Figurines per Year and with the Newly announced Garm and Monoid, that’s the Five for this Year. ((Ah Well, maybe one day).

It seems these figurines are now very popular and this is an excellent set to add to the collection.

June 28th, 2024 - 12:46pmIt’s Abit of a Strange One Welsh Doctor Who Fan. As you say they do seem popular, but quite a Few Times accordingly Harrops have put the Edition Size up to Just 250 Figurines and every time they have those Figures have taken ages to sell out (Sometimes Months). Then usually the Edition Size for the Next Release goes back down to somewhere between 200 and 225?

June 28th, 2024 - 1:25pmThe other issue with this is that it acts as a companion piece to Harrop’s Sutekh Figurine of which there were 300. I suspect owners of a Sutekh would want to order the Mummy quickly to ensure they got one.
