Forbidden Planet MCM 60th Anniversary Collection Exclusives

As always each item will have its own dedicated page as soon as its announced.

In addition we have a 60th Anniversary Collectors list which will give you an at-a-glance view of all items released as part of the 60th anniversary. There will be a permanent link to this on the merchandise home page.

Press release:

This year Forbidden Planet, in conjunction with Titan Merchandise and BBC Studios, will be hosting the return of the Doctor Who stand at MCM EXCEL, LONDON.

The super exciting part… we will be releasing 15 exclusive MCM convention items from the Doctor Who 60th Anniversary Collection.

Each Doctor will be represented with one exclusive item from the collection, giving fans the chance to get hold of limited numbered items that otherwise wouldn’t be available for up to 12 months!

None of these items will be available from Forbidden Planets webstore or in-store*.

Each day at MCM, we will release 5 items, in random order (so don’t expect Doctors One to Thirteen in order!). Some of these are part of the limited 100 collection – once these are all sold OUT, that’s it. They won’t appear anywhere as part of a Doctor Who month*.

Fans will need to get to MCM early doors to see what is on offer… latecomers risk missing out on the exclusives! (See poster for the day release splits as items will only be available on that day).

ALSO… there will be an exclusive photo opportunity on the stand. Materialising for the weekend will be a full sized TARDIS and costumes never seen in-person before.

*Any items left after MCM will go back into statis until that Doctors month in 2023!

Is there any chance these might appear at MCM Birmingham in a couple of weeks?

    Conventions have always had exclusives.

I think there is far more likely-hood of you being able to buy these online in the future over say some Harrops, Funko, Titans etc merchandise.

Absolutely bonkers!! If you wanted to collect it all – it’s becomes impossible if they sell out at the convention!! Was looking forward to this range – less so now!!

I completely agree! I was looking forward to collecting the pins but that’s going to be impossible for those of us that that can’t get to London for this.

I’m a bit confused however. They say they won’t be available in-store or on the website and then state the items “otherwise wouldn’t be available for up to 12 months” or is it just for the 100 limited edition?

So will these exclusives be sold later on?

Any unsold stock will be sold later in their “appropriate month”, you will basically be able to buy them first at MCM, sometimes months ahead of website stock.

If they sell all 100 at MCM then that’s it.

I very much suspect you will be able to buy most if not all of this online eventually, but ist at that point you might need to quick on some of it.
