It is fitting that the Draconians should be mentioned here, as they were Pertwee’s favourite alien.

Sweet excellent likeness. They have really improved in doing human like features. Can they go back and redo the Matt Smith’s 11th Doctor now?

No, because they haven’t done the other Doctors yet, and Smith is the most irritating of them.

This figurine could be from either The Green Death, Invasion of the Dinosaurs or Death to the Daleks. Wonder which one it will be.

Funny how theyve released this pic so far in advance with the impending Robert Harrops Pertwee figure due though……

I doubt it has anything to so with that. They released he first image of the Ironside Dalek even further back. We were on about issue 15 or so when that was first posted, a whole 20 issues before release, this one is only 12 ahead.

They had a picture of the Genesis Dalek in their adverts all the way back in August 2013 and it won’t be out until early next year!

Oh yeah, nearly forgot about the Genesis Dalek, further evidence.

Its the best Dr they’ve done ( if you get one that well painted) hopefully the relay race baton will get replaced with a proper sonic soon…

When are Troughton and Hartnell due ??

I hope that when they get around to doing the Seventh Doctor, it will look just as good as this one does. I only plan to get the Seventh Doctor one, so I hope it look good!

Any idea when this is out? Also I missed the 5th and fourth doctor. I really want to get em as they would go with the other mini figs I have if anyone knows what I mean. ? But yeah. I would have to order or ask my friends sister to do it online for me as fp still sell em an I might have a chance. I can and normally just display them with the 3.5inch as the restac an Ninth doctor an 11th davros do not look odd around them. Might get them individually at Comic con next year or ask forbidden planet I just I’m more of a casual pick and choose collector.

This is brilliant, they are definitely improving in the human facial feature department.

Has anyone else noticed that eaglemoss has completely changed the DWFC website?

Yes, their website is now much much worse.

On the other hand, it is closer to the new merchandise site.

Saw this yesterday, have to say this sculpt looks brilliant. Granted Pertwee has more distinctive facial features but this is still brilliant.

Not bad actually. I believe this is just a prototype as the sonic screwdriver is just a stick and he’s missing a bow tie.

He did start to look older as he approached the end of his tenure (although granted the wrinkles do look a little bit excessive). As this is the outfit he wore in The Green Death and Death to the Daleks, it makes sense for the face to be like that I suppose.
