Figurine Collection Magazine Time Lords Set #4

Available to order while stocks last from www.forbiddenplanet.com

The Inquisitor and The Rani

The Rani (Kate O’Mara) was an old childhood friend of the Doctor and the Master and became an enemy with the former and an unwilling ally of the latter. As seen in the Seventh Doctor’s adventure “Time and the Rani”, she has big, curled hair and is dressed lavishly, wearing red knee-high boots and voluminous patterned tunic.

Product Features:

  • All figurines measure approx 11.3 and 9.9 cm tall
  • Material: Metallic Resin, carefully produced in 1:21 scale
  • Hand-painted for incredible detail
  • Great gift for Doctor Who fans

Time Lords box set includes an in-depth 20-page magazine packed with details behind each character’s history, costumes and stories from the longest-running sci-fi show on television.

Same here. I applaud Eaglemoss for these. I,ve just put The Rani with seventh and Tetrap and Inquisitor with Valeyard and sixth as pride of display on the mantle for the day.

What is happening with this set, surely Eaglemoss should keep customers informed of any delays/issues.

This set was due out end of September/early October and we are now a month on and this as not even been sent out.

Eaglemoss should issue a statement on when customers should be getting this product

Just when is this going to be released. It’s a long time since paying for this and we seem to be paying again and again for preorder stuff and only getting dribbs and drabs back.before anyone says it’s your choice…yes it is but when you are collecting it all it just seems a bit unfair so much money in advance is being held for orders. I know it secures our item but two months plus….come on. Fab figurines like.

I spoke to someone on the phone about these pre-orders and the lady on the phone said she couldn’t tell me when they would be despatched so God knows what’s happening if not arrived with in the next 4 weeks of the earlier pre-orders I think I might cancel my pre-orders

Wonder if anyone has EVER read one of those magazines? They just go straight in the bin. Wonder if the figures would be cheaper without them?

there wouldn’t be any figurines without them, and i know people who would buy just the Magazine.

maybe instead of a bin you could recycle them or drop them down the charity shop or something i am sure plenty of others would like to read them who may not usually be able to afford them 🙂

I read them cover to cover but the figurines are more expensive £19.99 just for the figurines

Not necessarily. From 180 onwards you can’t get your local shop to reserve you a copy anymore, hence they are re-opening the chance to subscribe (having not allowed new joiners for some years now). It is currently definitely going up to 200 regular issues, it may get extended beyond that, it may not, depending on if they seek a further extension of their product licence from the BBC or not.

When the Timelord box sets end can I suggest a Doctors series? – Set 1 could contain Dr. Liz Shaw and Dr. Harry Sullivan. Set 2 could contain Dr. Grace Holloway and Dr. Martha Jones.

How many more after that though? I doubt it would be financially beneficial for them to release just two sets and, ironically, I can’t think of many doctor characters in the show that would warrant being in an entirely new spin-off collection.

Not Doctor Grace Holloway as BBC don’t own the rights to her fox do but I guess Disney do now

3rd Doctor as a cleaning lady, 4th Dr as Meglos, 5th Dr as Omega, 6th Dr as Maxil, 7th Dr as 6th Dr with a wig on a string to whip off quick before regeneration…

    Iconic…pure and simple!

Two fantastic characters brought to life by two wonderful actors. I think they both really lifted the perhaps not quite so wonderful scripts they had to deal with. Both gone far too soon.

These Time Lord sets have added loads of great characters to the range.

    Thanks again!

Hoping she returns to the show at some point she would be so different to the Master for new fans who have only seen one evil Timelord.

Another striking ‘The Timewarp’ Pose. Did an option of The Rani holding her weapon at the pre- opening of ‘Time and The Rani’ even get discussed before taking the decision to drop it in favour of simplicity?

I believe there is, if not for ‘ Time and the Rani’ then ‘Dimensions in Time’ but all i,m saying is given we,ve had 3 or 4 figurines in the same stance I would have liked it more, the Rani holding her weapon in the scene before the regeneration sequence ‘Leave the girl, Its the man i want’.

A massive thank you to Ben Robinson and Neil Corry. I am so overwhelmed with what we keep getting with this collection. Looking forward to the exciting news that is supposedly on its way soon. Is the Rani from the 6th era or 7th era in this set? Would love to have one from each era. If not will probably have to buy two of this set and try and make a custom figurine.
