Any news on this release? Had it pre-ordered and was due for release on 2nd May but seems to have been delayed.

How unusual to have to Daleks in the main range to be released one after the other 198 and 199

They have detailing of the underside of the Dalek, where it’s hover capabilities are. We don’t really see a Dalek underside in Classic Who so those Daleks just have the label.

I’ve heard a rumour that these will be extended up to the 60th anniversary a friend who collects these said it but he’s known to BS a lot but I’m in for however long these figurines run

What’s the difference between this one and the one from issue 6?

The ‘Belt’ above the bumps is gold rather than bronze.

That’s so strange. I was only explaining to a friend last night that they haven’t actually released the standard Dalek yet – the one from the episode Dalek has a gold waist band, and today I see this.

Noticed the ID tag is like that of the emperor’s drone daleks seen in the episide.
LOL, thing with that is, during the 2 parter the same 3 ID tags were seen over and over, we dont see any other designs, we knew they only had 4 daleks in season 1 including the beat up metaltron.

Even the “open” metaltron dalek was used as the blown up dalek in the tardis, you can tell this cos it had the gold lower collar, a little production error there.

Excellent job on the photoshop of that bronze publicity shot, lower gold collar changed to bronze and the ID tag changed, very good

I’m pleased with all these up and coming figurines and as a subscriber I expect I should be getting them, but will I? I haven’t received anything since 186/187.

KORSAIR, haven’t you been in touch with CS yet to see when there arriving.
I should imagine it’s to do with Brexit.
But still, you want an idea when it’s going to be soughted.

If you are in Northern Ireland then probably not. They have stopped delivery. Had four different excuses before I cancelled my subscription and eventually got a refund for all the late non deliveries.

A wee update, I’ve had a despatch email from Eaglemoss today stating that all seven of my unreceived figurines are now in the post. That’s a relief.

Every Dalek Ever, no matter how small the differences are.

This is the standard Bronze Dalek with no variants whatsoever, we haven’t had this one yet. The first Dalek they released was the metaltron from series 1 that has a different design. So this is the first time they’ve given us the actual standard, basic bronze time war Dalek

If they’re doing this, then do you think we’ll be getting the “Death to the Daleks” Dalek with normal ears and with both radiation weapon and machine gun varients, like they did with the orange eared one. Not being sarcastic, I actually want them.

If they are going to do this it should be a new sculpt as the original version was smaller than the classic Daleks and that’s not right.

It’s more a case of the classic Daleks started getting bigger, when they used to be in scale perfectly

They wouldn’t be silly enough to put a gold logo against a gold background for this issue would they?

Judging by the photo and the earlier gold Dalek release, it seems more of a brighter gold colour compared to other, which to me seems more bronze.

Is the only difference the fact that it doesn’t have the gold band at the top of the skirt? Because that was the metalron Dalek wasn’t it. So If that’s the case then is this the first clean, standard bronze Dalek that we’ve had to represent any Dalek from the end of series 1 all the way up to series 10 in the collection?

Yes, you’re quite right, and that’s the point Neil C has been making (there’ve been a few raised eyebrows over on the Collection FB page on this one because not everyone immediately ‘got’ the – to be fair, quite subtle – differences between this and the issue 6 version from ‘Dalek’ and some thought it was a 100% repeat, which it isn’t quite). This is indeed ‘THE’ definitive bronze drone we’ve seen from New-Who series 1 right up to the present day.
