Yes I agree the Silurians and Sea Devils looked their best during the Pertwee Era.

In my opinion, the two figurines of the Third Doctor are some of the best figurines in this collection. Omega from Arc of Infinity and the original Silurian are also first class.

Brilliant news!!! Another figurine of my most wanted list, thank you. Stygron / Kraal figurine and Vogan / Vorus figurine are still at the top of my list followed by Hieronymus and Movellan figurines, any of these (if not all!) will be brilliant releases please.

I hope it’s a sculpt with the helmet, otherwise, these sea-devils look so naff without it…

I really want to see foamasi, tractators and solonian mutts added to the collection as they’ve got funky designs and are more obscure figurines

Yesterday, was browsing on some customising sites. someones already made a brilliant Foamasi. Looks like 5inch character options scale complete with all articulation (don’t know how they do them so good) Theres also an abzorbaloff. Impressive with full articulation.

The samurai style look was an ill concieved idea along with the silurian outer body breast plates and the third eye which became a flashing communicator rather than its use for defence, subjugation or kill mode. Somehow and for all the wrong reasons became iconic for this story no matter how badly it was produced. Bring back the netting and the turtle face look. same with silurians, i,ll always love the Pertwee versions best. Will this have a tilted head?

Need a myrka SE to complete this story.

Myrka SE with as seen on screen authentic unfinished wet paint. I’d love the zygon sea monster, the sarasan too.

The skarasen head peaking over the wall. A large scale version might be problematic.

I,m not sure whether Saladin the saracen is on the immediate to do list Savo79. King John isn,t much of a fan of saracens either and sings as much on the subject with the lute.

YEA, I meant skarasen but i put sarasan not saracen. I would by a figurine of either though, still hoping The Crusade gets animated or found.

I was just joking around savo79. i,d love a skarasen.

Another (I’ll conceived idea) as you mentioned in the post above, would be Morbius monster,
Absolutely shocking (although some seem to like it).

All joking gratefully received. I know a few of the old monsters were fairly naff looking but I’d still love one on my shelf. When I look at my little figurines it instantly takes me back to the episode. I think the short falls in effects make the viewer engage their imagination and that makes the experience all the better. Also as far as specials go Bessie is my No.1 wish.

Ergon, the Sea Devils’ samurai-inspired costume had a ton of thought.

Michael Briant said he put his Sea Devils in netting at the last minute because he thought they looked naked. So he had them dressed in fishing netting. Because they come from the sea. Which is where fish come from.

We’re agreed that the neck section could have been sturdier.

And Savo79, we’d love to grant your wish. As always, I can’t and don’t want to make any promises. Who wouldn’t want Bessie?

yes but the netting idea by Briant, even if it was inadvertently thought up at the eleventh hour was simplistic and worked. The samurai outfits seemed incongruous and seemed dressed this way to justify the ‘Warriors’ of the title. I don,t hate the look but like most of that production, it just wasn,t thought through and was rushed, with what could have been a very enjoyable cold war style Base under siege.
P.S- i still want the figurine.
