I ordered this when it went on “Add to basket” with the Sea Devil. The parcel came the next day but instead of Novice Hame they sent Eldrad instead.
Trying to sought it out with CS at the moment, hope they send the right one before it’s out of stock.

      Just got a reply,
There sending the correct figurine but asking me to return the original one.
Was surprised about this, because other people have mentioned previously about getting replacements from Eaglemoss and they didnt even wanting original item returning.

I think a peg doll figure would be a good addition instead of another cyberman or dalek variant

Yes, with only a few precious slots left if indeed they do finish the collection at 200, I for one won’t be amused it they have any more variants
Included. (All new figures) Sorry, but it’s how I feel.

Remember buying the Character Options 12 inch version of this, thought it was awesome, especially the face details.

Neil, do you have the rights to do the Absorbaloff? Character have commented that they are unable to make him due to the design belonging to a Blue Peter Winner who would want cash for the rights.

Interesting one because Peter Kay turned his back on the character and wanted nothing to do with it(so it was said) but then Warlord Games managed it so no reason why the others can’t do it?

Wish all the main company’s would make kandyman. Eaglemoss, Harrops, Big Chief etc.
(Had me scratching my head for years this one)
If indeed it is a copyright issue preventing anyone from making him. HOW, come the BBC never have any problems releasing the actual story over and over again without copyright problems. Wether it be VHS, DVD or Blu Ray.

    • booboo

      August 21st, 2020 - 6:14pm

kandyman is a no go as far as figures are concerned which has been said time and time again.

It would most likely need a legal licencing agreement from Bassests to start with which would cost a fortune for just ONE figure, you seem to think people can just do what they want but they can’t, and even then the BBC would still have to approve if it we sold under the Doctor Who banner which they wont do because of past history.

    • Coleman

      August 21st, 2020 - 6:21pm

BooBoo, what about The BBC seemingly getting round this loophole to keep releasing the story on different formats.
Do you know anything about this?

    • booboo

      August 21st, 2020 - 6:34pm

Because that was dealt with long ago, it exists already. Its very different from producing a figure via a licence holder

Every one needs to remember Eaglemoss, Harrops, Character, Big Chief etc etc are independent business and Licence holders to produce Doctor Who merchandise in their particular field and are NOT the BBC.

If the BBC say they can’t do the Kandyman under their licence then that’s it , end of. So there i no point in people continually going at them.

If they hadn,t gone with the blue jelly spog head and yellow liquorice stomach and chose different sweets we might have had him, I mean theres not that much resemblance to Bertie. Having said that we wouldn,t have such a colourful iconic villain from 1980s Who, so we can,t have it both ways.

    Maybe it’s a Richard Hurdnell 1st Doctor?

I know they are probably only doing each of the Doctors once more, but that could take up a lot of room we may not have with 7 left to do after Spyfall 13 (8 if we get young war).

This could be an exception to doing more than two of each Doctor as it is another actor entirely.

I’d really love a Headless Monk from series 6. Or Dorium. I know they’re really low down on the list for a lot people but I feel like they’d make nice figurines and they have next to no representation in terms of merchandise

The Solonian Mutt has a lot of requests as well. Maybe its the Taran Wood Beast. The choices are endless as I hope the collection is too.
