Step back in time with this special first TARDIS console model as it appeared in 1963 alongside the First Doctor in our Doctor Who Figurine Collection!

The First Doctor’s Tardis Console Model brings to life the original console that first appeared in the adventure An Unearthly Child (1963). The black and white colour gives a nostalgic feel to the classic TARDIS console. It has a hexagonal shape with different controls on each of the panels and a central time rotor which moves when the TARDIS is in flight.

This Tardis Console Model: The First Doctor, made from a high-quality polyresin, meticulously recreates the console as seen in the first-ever Doctor Who adventure. The model was carefully hand-painted to capture the original black and white console and its every button, switch and panel that brings to life the console that served five Doctors for almost a decade.

If you have any problems say it comes damaged is Eaglemoss good with doing replacements or not ???

Yes, I had the colour version arrive with a broken time rotor, they replaced it, asking for the damaged one back as well. They gave a Freeport address. New one arrived undamaged. They replaced a Star Trek item that was faulty too.

Heads up: loooads of stuff on the Eaglemoss site just came back into stock. Such as the Dalek Battle Pod which I’ve been trying to get for some time, as well as sold out companion sets! Also be sure to use the discount code WHOS12

Just got mine. Looks great with the 1st Dr B/W set. I have placed the figures around the console. Once again a great set.

Got this set and the B&W Doctor lineup as well yesterday. They all look just right.

If these sell well then it just might mean more sets of B&W variations for all the Hartnell and Troughton figures.

Now, if Eaglemoss could start doing bonus sets of cardboard/laminated Tardis interior walls…

It does look great. Paint job on mine spot on. Prefer it to the colour version

Its a shame (for me) that they released this after doing the colour set. Had it been done at the same time I may have chosen it. It looks like a nice variation of the original set. And when I finally build my shelves to display the figures in episode order it would have been nice to put in a few B&W figures at the beginning.

But overall its a good looking set and i’m sure plenty of people will appreciate it on their shelves.

No! There are in scale with the Eaglemoss figures which are 3.5″

Nice if you want them, not for me though I love the colour version as it should be.
The show was B&W at the time but the Who universe was always colour in my mind so B&W versions are more a novelty.

Its great to see an alternative B+W version of the First Doctor Tarids console and First Doctor Companion set, however I won’t be getting either sets as I recently bought the colour versions.

Its a shame they were’t released as a special limited edition boxset with console and figures together as then I think I may have bought them

I don’t have the B+W sets yet Bob, however if they’re still in stock in 3 weeks I might get them both 😀

They are great sets. Better than the colour ones in my opinion

I decided to get both sets and they arrived today, I’m happy to say the figurines are nicely painted and the tardis console is gorgeous

I do like the look of these in B&W.

I still have the Character Options B&W 1st and 2nd Doctors boxed (they should do a Tardis too).

But will stick to colour versions of the consoles. Just waiting for 12th Doctor one so I can order 2 at once.

Wasn’t sure about getting these sets, but having a B&W version has really tempted me.

I absolutely adore this idea. I’m hoping once I have the money (and once the original colour first doctor companion set comes back into stock) that I’ll be able to get both.

Maybe one day if we’re very lucky we’ll have a first and second doctor and all of their companions in both colour and black and white figurines along with the console to go with them. Wouldn’t that he a dream.

I hope Eaglemoss/Hero Collector keep making these figurines for years to come. I reckon they could do something awesome for their 10 year anniversary in 2023.

Fair enough I’m simply voicing my own opinion.

As I’ve always said this is one of my favourite ranges I’d just prefer new figurines personally and if others like these that’s great.

My post was created just before yours went up. Was just a general comment in isolation about BW additions and not a reply to your comments.

      No worries Dalek Commander!

I get that lots of people like different versions (I remember Sideshow doing B&W Universal Monsters years ago) they’re just not for me and what I love about Eaglemoss is the sheer variety of characters and I totally agree it’s a fantastic collection!

      Resistance is (usually) futile!

A lot of other brands have produced similar Black and White version items. They actually look really good and kind of recreate the original. Some may see these as a Cash Grab but I think they are a great addition to the collection.
Can I also say what a fantastic collection the Dr Who Eaglemoss series is turning out to be. long may it continue.

Quite a nice model and although I do love this collection I have to say I’m a little weary of the amount of Tennant-era figures and, now the different paint finishes of the same figurines, which are beginning to feel like they’re milking a cash cow.

This console and the First Doctor B&W sets will be the first I’ll be passing on I’m afraid.

Sorry to be negative and usually as I say this collection is one of my all-time favourite ranges but I would like to see new figurines rather than re-paints.

People ask day after day for Character B&W figures and re- releases and other items but the minuet Eaglemoss do what people are asking for in other ranges suddenly they are “cash cow”.

I really don’t understand why people complain about re-issues/variants etc. Some people like to have them and it helps keep the range going if they can re-use sculpts/molds. This is simple-YOU DON’T HAVE TO BUY THEM! People like me love them.
