June 12th, 2019 - 12:35pmNever bought any of these companion special releases before, but thought I would take a punt with the 12th/Bill set, arrived this morning, and I am very impressed, very good likeness and paintwork on both figurines, love the tardis box they both come in, roll on the 2nd Doctor/Jamie release!

As this is my favourite pairing since the show came back I’m doubly pleased. Just wish we could have had Bill for longer!

June 5th, 2019 - 8:53pmMine arrived today as well. I’d say my figurines are pretty much the same level of paintwork and likeness as the promo photo – no better no worse really. But as ever, the mini mag is excellent with lots of photos I don’t think I’ve seen before and an exclusive interview with Series 10’s costume designer.

June 4th, 2019 - 11:08amI don’t collect these figures as i don’t have the space for them, but I’ve just got to say that Bill just doesn’t look like Bill. I can only describe that face as “constipated”.

June 4th, 2019 - 1:41pmI see your point, but they’re so small that they look better in person. If these were 5″ figures, it wouldn’t be great, but they’re like 3.5″ so it’s not as noticeable.
I’ve only got one human(oid) figure – the Valeyard – and the face doesn’t look as good in pictures as it does in person.

May 8th, 2019 - 8:31pmFP tend to advertise as ‘In Stock’ to lure those pre-orders and just because its prebooked doesn,t necessarily mean youre going to get before anyone else. They have to wait for Eaglemoss to relinquish some of that early stock and they don,t always get it first. I know from experience and it doesn,t always guarantee you,ll get first batch.

May 6th, 2019 - 10:30amVery VERY disappointed with Bill. The actor/character has such a great expressive face, but even with this composed expression, this figure doesn’t even remotely look like her. It literally could be anyone BUT her. The pose doesn’t exactly scream out her personality either, so you’ve captured nothing of her at all.

May 4th, 2019 - 3:33pmI suppose it’s always the same with this type of thing, the monsters are perfect but human features are more difficult. These may not be hugely accurate but you can tell who they are meant to be. It’s the same with the captain Jack figure as well.

May 4th, 2019 - 1:06pmDo a lot of the doctor figurines look perfectly right? The Sarah figurine doesn,t look like Elisabeth Sladen. They are just Iconic representations of that character. The only ones that usually get the facial feature correct are the 5:5 range. I want them all the same.

May 4th, 2019 - 4:21pmThese 2 sets are coming out in August (12 & Bill) and September (9 & Jack) and they’ve said the 2 & Jamie set is to be the sixth released so I’d reckon October or so?

May 9th, 2019 - 12:22amIt must have been the specials i,m referring to for notification then but i,m sure it let me know through my Email Account messages when they were advertising to let subscribers know that the companion sets were available and not ‘automatically reserved’ but an option to preorder.
