Dr Who Figurine Collection Special 26 Melkur

Available to order in the UK from www.shop.eaglemoss.com

Available to order in the USA from www.shop.eaglemoss.com/us

An ominous statue found on the harmonious planet of Traken, the Melkur is the next Special Edition to our Doctor Who Figurines Collection!

The Melkur was said to be a source of great evil, kept sealed in a sacred grove. In truth, it was a camouflaged form for the Master’s TARDIS, which he used to ensnare and manipulate the heir to the Keeper of Traken – and through her, the entire planet!

Withered and dying, crippled by his lack of regenerations, the Master hoped to use the powers of the Keeper of Traken to grant himself a new life. His desperate search for immortality came to a climax at the end of this story when he claimed the body of Tremas – played by the iconic Anthony Ainley.

This Melkur Figurine captures the creature as seen in the Fourth Doctor’s adventure “The Keeper of Traken” (1981).

Product Features:

  • Figurine measures: approx. 13 cm
  • Material: Metallic Resin
  • Hand-painted for incredible detail
  • Great gift for Doctor Who fans

The Melkur Figurine comes complete with a 20-page illustrated magazine examining your figurine in close detail and the creative process behind it and exclusive behind the scenes of the episode “The Keeper of Traken” (1981).

Love this figurine! Great to have a figure from this story and as a statue, the character it works perfectly for a figurine!

I know I’ve been banging on about some of the Fourth Doctor’s seasons being underrepresented but I read a recent comment from Neil (without him going into specifics obviously) that they have had issues getting clearance with some of those characters so it made me appreciate that we are not obviously privy to some of the problems, which I’m sure are many.

Just wanted to say thanks for trying and I fingers crossed we will eventually get some of those ‘harder to agree’ figurines!
