Dr Who Figurine Collection Issue #219 Bellal

Available to order from scifcollector via www.ebay.co.uk or www.scificollectorshop.co.uk

Bellal, the brave little alien that helped the Doctor not only end the power-draining tyranny of the City of the Exxillons, but also helped him defeat the Daleks, thereby also saving the entire galaxy from a deadly space plague in the 1974 adventure Death to the Daleks.

Eking out a meagre living on the planet Exxilon, this friendly alien resisted the fall into superstition and barbarism to which so many of his people had succumbed.

The figurine has been meticulously crafted in specially formulated metallic resin and is painted by hand.

Lovely to get this on Arnold Yarrow’s 103rd birthday! What a milestone and I hope someone has sent him his figurine!

All three figurines arrived from Sci Fi Collector this morning – much earlier than expected! Such a nice surprise.

Fantastic to have three more to add to the collection and all three look great in hand (apart from some paint overlap on Commander Sharrell’s boots – plus ça change!!) Bellal looks great – brilliant pose that absolutely captures the character. Swarm looks really good too.

All three sculpts look great actually and just makes me wonder what we missed out on in those planned figurines up to 250. Chuffed to bits to have these and hopeful for a very last couple more before ‘the final end’!

      Hi Quark,
We’ve been spared the ‘freak weather conditions’ here.
It was Royal Mail signed for. Oddly came with lots of old 76p stamps on the box which I thought you couldn’t use anymore!
Still came as a welcome surprise especially as there was no email notification it had shipped.
      Hope yours come soon.

Definitely translates it’s creepy design to resin really well.
To be honest, despite how good of a design this is, I really don’t want
to something like this staring at me from my shelf.
