March 13th, 2023 - 6:00pmIt angers me that these figures have finally surfaced but without the magazines. I really enjoyed the mags and resent having to pay nearly £20 for a figure without them. The retailer who has the mags are charging a ridiculous price for them!

March 13th, 2023 - 6:20pmprobably because they had to pay a lot to secure them, figurines made in china, mags printed in Europe. Once they went bust it would have been a free for all as to who managed to buy what from where. That’s what happens in these situations.
Companies and individuals lost millions and people lost jobs.

March 15th, 2023 - 1:11amApparently Sci Fi Collector said no to the magazines because at that point they were stuck in Spain and the figurines were in the UK. It would have cost to get the magazines into this country.
So Trek Traders have decided to pay to import them. Two companies so two costs. It may seem expensive but considering some paid a hundred quid for the Cleaner Robot magazine on its own, it’s not so bad especially with the discount. Someone also mentioned online that they have seen similar situations where the printed material has been destroyed after administration so we’re lucky to see them at all.
We don’t know how much each company paid so they may not be making that much of a profit and at least these prices are not completely extortionate unlike the seller that had the Movellan on its own for fifty quid!

The Outcast
March 12th, 2023 - 11:43amI do hope the figurine collection can continue. Not a collector of it myself (though I do have the 2005 Dalek Emperor one they did) but it’d be nice for the folks who are collectors for it to get continuation. And with a new era of the program starting in November, it’d be the perfect time to announce a relaunch of the range with the new Doctors and new villains at the fore, with other new figurines from past eras in there too.

March 11th, 2023 - 2:34pmThe strange coral design to me looks like popcorn. Both buttery and delicious. Except this is made of resin, so never mind.
In terms of posing, it does look very menacing. But in a way that Swarm looks they’re done with the Doctor’s shenanigans, “Now, listen here you little s”
Will probably get it.
