Dr Who Figurine Collection #77 Flame-thrower Dalek
Issue 77 is available to order individually from www.forbiddenplanet.com
Celebrate 50 years of Doctor Who this fantastic new figurine collection. The series draws from every era show and includes all eleven versions of the Doctor plus his greatest monsters.
All the figurines are carefully produced in 1:21 scale, and cast in a specially formulated metallic resin before being painted by hand and individually numbered. The specially formulated resin and high quality sculpting allow the figurines to reproduce an incredible level of detail right down to the mesh in the Silurian Warrior’s uniform and the controls on Davros’s console.
Each figurine recreates a specific moment from the TV series in loving detail and every sculpt is based on detailed study of the original production photography, props and drawings.
The collection features several different versions of the Daleks and Cybermen allowing you to trace their evolution over the years. This is the definitive Doctor Who figurine collection.

The Flying Shark
July 15th, 2016 - 8:01amGot this and issue 76 yesterday, good issues, but I would have liked a bit of fire coming out of the Dalek if possible.

Exterminator

July 13th, 2016 - 7:03pmWonder if they will go mad and try something really adventurous the ‘glass’ arthur stengos dalek…

July 14th, 2016 - 6:46pmI suspect not. That’d need to be made out of totally different material from their usual resin. That much clear plastic will mean a totally different factory production line, possibly even a different factory. I’d be very pleased to be proved wrong, it’d be a great addition, but changing manufacture process, maybe even changing supplier, for one issue would be more effort than I think they’d want to go to…

July 14th, 2016 - 8:03pmThere have been transparent components in several figures however so lets hope its not completely impossible.

July 16th, 2016 - 4:53pmYes but never anything to the extent of what would be needed for a dalek, i believe you’re referring to the vashta nerada and several cybermen, on each it was only a small simple piece and on the face of boe they just used plastic, but it would definately be amazing if they could somehow do it.

July 13th, 2016 - 7:02pmNice dalek one of the better ones I thought.

July 13th, 2016 - 6:44pmMine came with the gun snapped off. Why do a flamethrower Dalek without the flame? Why not do the compass or mutant scoop version instead (probably will later on anyway)

July 17th, 2016 - 4:45pmI agree Daleks have had loads of different attachments, The only ones I can possibly see them doing now is Dalek Thay with a syringe attachment and missing back panels, Time war guard dalek with assault claw or upgraded gun attachment and a movie Dalek with a claw arm or blow torch. I would want a dalek with compass, scoop and transmitter dish except they have the same casing design as the flame thrower dalek. All though they probably wont do it I would like to have a figurine of the terry nation silver movie dalek with a red dome and claw attachment.

July 13th, 2016 - 1:57pmMy Dalek has arrived broken again.
The Monitor
July 13th, 2016 - 5:22pmMine had the flame thrower bent through nearly 90 degrees as the tie wrap had come off. First one I have ever opened to fix back in. I straightened the stalk to about 15-20 degrees out as don’t want to break it.

Asked Eaglemoss a while ago where my issues 74 and 75 are and was expecting this delivery to be them but no. Whenever there’s a problem with Eaglemoss you almost have to accept its not gonna be sorted for a while.
