Dr Who Figurine Collection #181 Alien Ambassador

The Alien Ambassadors arrive on Earth to become a part of our Doctor Who Figurines Collection!

The Doctor Who Figurine Collection part 181 features peaceful, radiant-dependant Alien Ambassador from the Third Doctor adventure “The Ambassadors of Death” (1970). The Third Doctor (Jon Pertwee) joins UNIT’s investigation of the mystery surrounding Mars Probe 7. Space Control has had no contact with the astronauts on board since it started back from Mars seven months ago. Now the Recovery 7 rescue mission has run into similar difficulties…

This Alien Ambassador figurine captures the alien in an astronaut suit with his hands reaching to touch you. The figurine has been meticulously crafted in specially formulated metallic resin and painted by hand to bring this classic character to life.

Any idea around what dates the Master (#186) and Ruth Doc (#188) are expected to be available for order? Don’t want to miss it and find they’re out of stock!! Thanks

Reposted it – didn’t mean to post it as a reply to a comment!

    According to Eaglemoss recent form
Our last 11 figurines will probably be variants.

Brilliant figurine – iconic pose too! More 70’s monsters /characters please. Styggron is still there at the top of my list. Followed by Vogan / Vorus, Hieronymus and the Movellans. Any of these will be brilliant. But Styggron would be a wish come true.

Another figure we would in all probability never see in any other series and very nice it is too. Really iconic pose!

I’m hoping before the collection ends (or as part of online specials if that’s how it continues in future) in addition to the newer characters we can have some more from the 70s. For example there are still whole seasons of Tom Baker’s run with very few characters representing them. Very much looking forward to Eldrad though!

Just ordered Ambassador alien this morning.
Jodie in her tuxedo came day after ordering.
Riversong took 21 days to arrive. I always use the Royal mail option as it’s quite abit cheaper.
So, don’t know what to expect this time.

I think if this collection does end at 200 you might start getting the latter figures earlier especially given Retailers like WHsmith no longer stock them. Its down like you said, to postal deliveries. Some have recieved their subscriptions. I haven,t recieved mine yet. Do you buy subscription Daleks off EBay and the like?

      Hello Ergon,
Haven’t bought any of the Dalek specials, found them to be abit expensive.
But I’ve got 1 to 181 so far of the regular collection plus the specials and the box sets.

You can usually drop on, if there is existing stock sales on Ebay Thats where i picked the dalek with mutant scoop from ‘Power’. Didn,t subscribe till just after 100 myself. Mines standard subscription so i order the specials separately and often find they come earlier than those with premium subscriptions. That sort of makes up for delayed DPD deliveries or my monthlies which quite a few seem to get a lot quicker. Covid doesn,t help either with limited postal deliveries of late.
