Doctor Who The Return of Robin Hood Paperback

Available to order from www.amazon.co.uk

The Fourth Doctor (Tom Baker) returns to Sherwood Forest in this incredible new crossover of Doctor Who and the legend of Robin Hood

Gold had come to the greenwood . . .

Robin Hood is disenchanted. Maid Marion has disappeared, and the legend of the Doctor has retreated into the shadows of Sherwood Forest.

But the Doctor is back! (Although this is his first visit – time travel does strange things to a story.)

And the timing couldn’t be better. A new Sheriff of Nottingham is in town, out to get the Outlaws, and behind the scenes, the mythical Mother Maudlin has designs on the realm that are not of this earth . . .

With the Kingdom in peril, it’s time for the return of the Lionheart.

I think by the cover it’s obviously the 4th Doctor.

Er, yes. The vast majority of comments below though were posted before the cover was released at the point when we didn’t know which doctor was involved

What a beautiful cover that is! And Paul Magrs is one of my favourite authors. So yeah I’m getting this!

Never been a fan of magrs doctor who books, his original non doctor who fiction is good but I was left cold by his who novels. Doesn’t matter as I’ll happily buy this and try it. The cover is great. Really looking forward to the (newly altered title) rebellion on treasure island, a Matt Smith and Clara story. Oh, and the origins book has confirmed both sophie aldred and Katy manning as writing stories for their respective characters.

So the fourth Doctor meets King Richard. I wonder if Richard will be puzzled as to him not being the white haired fella he met whilst at war.

So presumably, the Doctor’s gonna have to forget everything that happens at the end of this story, given that Twelve didn’t even believe Robin Hood existed in Robot of Sherwood, much less remembering meeting him.

He might get a bang on the head Symon, I’ve heard it’s good for amnesia.

Is this going to be a 13th doctor story?

It says the Doctor hasn’t met Robin yet, so has to be 12th or before.

I think this was originally mentioned as a 10th Doctor story but I’m not sure on that.
