Doctor Who The Daemons 5″ Figure Set

Available to order from www.amazon.co.uk

Also available from www.ebay.co.uk

In the peaceful village of Devil’s End something very strange is happening. A professor is preparing to open a nearby burial mound and a local white has foresees death and disaster. Meanwhile, the new vicar looks suspiciously like the Master and he is using black magic to conjure up an ancient Daemon.

This action figure set includes Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart, the Master, and a Daemon.

Ainley Master in his proper outfit.
First release with a rotocast Tardis, either the Fire Place from Castrovalva or the Iron Maiden from Kings Demons. Then with cloak with a Earthshock Cyberman/leader,

      April 24th, 2013 - 3:31pm

Ah yes the Quarks, they’d make great figures. Quite like to see a White robot too, and of course classic Ice Warriors!

I’m am surprised we have not had an 11 companion set. Or just even classic companion set.

I’d go for Susan, Jamie, young Sarah, Romana2, Teegan, Mel, Ace, Grace, new Rose sculpt, Martha, Clara. Has to be done really eh?

    • Scott

      July 1st, 2013 - 11:34am

Ahaha that’s so random bald peri!

    • McGann is the Doctor

      April 23rd, 2013 - 12:27pm

Good choices, but Frontier in Space should have the Master in a space suit and maybe the Doctor in his green shirt and no jacket.

A Day of the Daleks set with two Ogrons and a gray Dalek would make a killing, I’d buy atleast two ❗

    • The ergon

      April 26th, 2013 - 12:22pm

This list is wishful thinking. I can,t see them doing macra in their original form, as much as we,d like. They said they wouldn,t do figures to stories that didn,t exist. If only they would.

    • josh smith

      April 26th, 2013 - 5:13pm

      they ment big finish

they have done evil of the daleks daleks that dosnt exsist and a 10th planet cyberman and a flame dalek fom the daleks mastrplan

  • lee moone

    April 22nd, 2013 - 3:22pm

OK I get Pertwee may sell better, but don’t believe that a 1st Dr Set would be as popular but we have had a few of those plus a resculpt! suggested the bobble hat with life jacket as it would be a different enough model. A removable head with a smiley face would be good to as 2nd Dr was rarely grumpy as portrayed in the current, and only model, available!

    • McGann is the Doctor

      April 23rd, 2013 - 12:31pm

A life jacket ? Woah is that lame.

I am sure they will make a new 2nd Doctor set eventually, but the sooner they make a proper 1986 Doctor the better. It’s not like it would be a wasted sculpt: they could use it for lots of sets:

You’ve got your Mysterious Planet Doctor with the green chains and blue cravat-bow, your Mindwarp Doctor with red waistcoat pink chains and red cravat-bow, your Terror of the Vervoids Doctor with/sans coat.

That’s FOUR times they could use the sculpt, and some damn great figures they could release with them ❗

    April 22nd, 2013 - 11:01am

If there spreading it out for cost, then i hope they get round to ‘a Daemons set 2’ with an azal figure. Incidentally, are they ever going to get to releasing that 2nd pyramids set with the sutekh and sarcophagus?

  • Steampunk Doctor

    April 22nd, 2013 - 8:26am

Gonna get this and the actual dvd

  • lee moone

    April 20th, 2013 - 5:11pm

Not another flippin’ Pertwee era set! 🙁 Come on what about something for us Troughton fans? Fury Troughton with his blue bobble hat, Mr Oak & Mr Quinn? Jamie, Vaughan & Zoe from Invasion or even a few Yeti’s & a few early UNIT soldiers from Web of Fear, PLEASE!!!!!!

    • josh smith

      April 20th, 2013 - 10:19pm

they dont sell aswell as pertwee sets and pertwee sets are better quality

    • McGann is The Doctor

      April 21st, 2013 - 1:26am

I’m not a fan of Troughton’s, I think that furry hat was daft and not in a nice way.

But I do sympathise with those of you who are fans and want to make your figure adventures, he would tend to wear that thing.

I would love to see more Sixth Doctor sets, and Kamelion with a Peter Davison in his jumper sword fighting the Master from Kings Demons, but this set is also good ❗

    • The Silence

      April 21st, 2013 - 3:06pm

They had made a prototype Yeti, so there’s hope it’ll be released in the future yet-i.

    • auton101

      April 21st, 2013 - 6:14pm

They are doing Pertwee’s era because the monsters were great. But i agree we need more Troughton era. Looking at this set though it looks great. Im looking forward to more Pertwee sets.

    • josh smith

      April 21st, 2013 - 7:02pm

we need more 6th doctor sets

    • McGann is the Doctor

    • who rules

      April 22nd, 2013 - 6:12pm

don’t sell as well? how do you know as there haven’t been any troughton sets yet!

    • Dalek The Supreme

      April 22nd, 2013 - 7:41pm

I think they should stop with Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker sets after the rest of the Brigadier and Jo Grant sets and the second Pyramids of Mars set are released, and then make Hartnell, Troughton, Davison, and McCoy sets. We need companions for all of them, since Peri was mainly Colin’s companion. I want a Curse of Fenric set w/Ace, Haemovore, and Ancient Haemovore, Earthshock set w/Adric, Cyberleader, and Cyberman w/thermo lance, Warriors of the Deep set w/Tegan, Sea Devil, and Silurian, and a Web of Fear set w/Jamie, Brig, and Yeti.

    • Dalek The Supreme

      April 22nd, 2013 - 7:42pm

  • McGann is The Doctor

    April 20th, 2013 - 2:26pm

As much as I like this set, will only get it if the Master has removable cloak.

Bok is too small, and I already intend to get that Brigadier in the Claws of Axos set.

    • Scott the Raptor

      April 20th, 2013 - 2:28pm

This brigadier has a cap om, not a beret.

    • josh smith

      April 20th, 2013 - 10:19pm

it is absolsy not removable look at his neck…..

    • McGann is The Doctor

      April 21st, 2013 - 1:28am

Will have to see when the sets come out.

I don’t like the story 3 Doctors nor do I want that set, but I really want the Brigadier from it.

Will probably end up buying the 3 Doctors brig loose on ebay, and buy the Axos one for real.

I haven’t seen that one yet but have the DVD and look forward to it, from what I’ve seen it looks like an unusual but very good story.

GLISTENING with creativity, like a comic book.

    • Dalek The Supreme

      April 22nd, 2013 - 7:43pm

I like the Happiness Patrol. The Kandyman was actually rather sinister.

    • josh smith

      April 19th, 2013 - 6:42pm

      not ace mel is better

a frontier in space set with

      draconion
      ogron
      jo
      master in black

    • McGann is The Doctor

      April 20th, 2013 - 2:24pm

A borad figure would be nice, he was the best villain ever but had a terrible story 🙁

If they make an enemies of the 6th Doctor set they should just include him, and have the Cybercontroller.

They could still make : 6th Doctor in waistcoat with Rani from Mark of the Rani.

6th Doctor in hawaian style waistcoat and Sontaran with gun and the 2nd Doctor from Two Doctors

6th Doctor, Giant Robot and Valeyard from Mysterious Planet.

6th Doctor and Valeyard and Lord Kiv from Mindwarp.

6th Doctor, Mel and Vervoids from Terror of the Vervoids

    • Dalek The Supreme

      April 22nd, 2013 - 7:45pm

I really can’t stand Mel, they need to release Ace, especially since he was the Seventh Doctor’s main companion.

    • josh smith

      April 23rd, 2013 - 7:39am

no mel would be better so we can do the regen scene and mel was longer as a compaion

    • Joethewhovian

      May 18th, 2014 - 2:22pm

Mel was only in 6 stories (20 episodes), while ace was in nine stories (31 episodes).

    • The Greater Intelligence

      April 17th, 2013 - 4:24pm

What about a Benton figure? I would get that, Benton was always under used and made the shadow of Yates, who was a character I never liked and always expected was up to something (see ‘Invasion Of The Dinosaurs).

    • josh smith

      April 17th, 2013 - 4:47pm

yates was fantastic i liked him much more lol

    • Scott the Raptor

      April 17th, 2013 - 7:59pm

and his bage costume from ambasidors of death

    • drjakeyoung

      April 18th, 2013 - 5:10pm

there are to be 4 sets with the brig in and 4 with Jo. This is his 3rd set so we still have 1 more with him in and 2 more with Jo grant.

    • Benji

      April 19th, 2013 - 3:36am

If they do an Inferno set, I’d like a Liz Shaw figure…

    • The Monitor

      April 19th, 2013 - 6:31am

You could have Brigadier, Brigade Leader, and the two Liz Shaws.

That way CO/UT would only have to do one new main sculpt, but be able to sell a four-figure pack.

    • josh smith

      April 19th, 2013 - 7:16am

The individual pictures are not the actual figures but the original sculpts, notice the lack of articulation on them, and yes those pictures were leaked Autumn last year.

£29.99? This is more expensive than the other 2! why?

I think its because Bok is an articulated figure unlike the Gel guard, plus the Master may cost more to make because of the robes.

Besides its not that much more, I don’t mind payinf £30 for three figures, thats reasonable considering the many costs behiind the sets. The most outrageous set has been the enemies of the third doctor. I think if they keep the sets at £20 for two pack and £30 for bigger sets and maybe £35 for the odd bigger set or vehicle set, that will be fine. Plus I don’t mind paying up to £50 for the classic TARDIS console, as long as they put effort meaning electronics into it.
