Doctor Who: Snake Bite Audio CD

Doctor Who: Snake Bite is an exclusive adventure written specially for audio by Scott Handcock, and features the Doctor, Amy and Rory as played by Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill in the acclaimed hit series from BBC Television. It is read by Frances Barber, who played Madame Kovarian in Series 6.

After a lifetime spent working on her secret project, Doctor Elehri Mussurana and her husband, Ernst Wharner, watch in awe as their experiment reaches its final, glorious fruition. A wormhole in time and space is being created… Then the unexpected occurs: inside the swirling vortex appears a tall blue box…

Potential disaster awaits the Doctor, Rory and Amy as the Tardis arrives in a scientific research outpost far into the future just as the fabric of reality is ripped at the seams and the universe tears in two….

This story is the final Audio Original to feature Amy and Rory, as played by Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill who left the most recent TV episode ‘The Angels Take Manhattan’.

Due for release on 06 December 2012.

The return of the Mara, perhaps? I really must get back into the audiobooks; I’m still on “Eye of the Jungle”.

It would’ve been nice for the Ponds’ last Audio Original to have been read by one of them, but you can’t have everything 🙂 And I suppose Madame Kovarian had a lot to do with them…

Nice, looks great! 😀 The cover makes me want to get it for some reason. I have never gotten one of these, might get this seen as it’s Amy and Rory’s final one. 🙂

That’s some lovely cover art. Better than a lot of the duller ones that have come previously. Very nice colours.

Sounds like a great story. Shame about the cover, though. It looks very empty and doesn’t really excite me.

I’m sure this will be a great end to another great year of Eleventh Doctor audios. Apart from The Nu-Humans. 😉
