Series 6 Figures Wave 1b – Pictures
Doctor Who Series 6 Figures Wave 1b
Recreate scenes from Doctor Who with these incredibly detailed fully articulated 5-inch action figures. Characters include the Eleventh Doctor and key villains from the hit TV show. Styles may vary. One supplied. For ages 5 years and over.
Wave 1b consists of 6 Figures – Idris, Uncle, The Eleventh Doctor wearing cowboy hat, The Eleventh Doctor with beard and wearing straight jacket and Silent’s with closed and open mouths.
The Silents supplied in wave 1a are totally different to wave 1b, the have a matt black coat (looks much much better in y opinion) and a more “pinkish” face which is a a matt finish rather than the shiny appearance of the grey ones.
Amelia pond is not the same face sculpt or hair as the Doctor Who Experience figure…

or you could use it with the straight jacket doctor in the chair to be him being imprisoned in the chair with a flight control tardis in the corner

July 31st, 2011 - 5:25pmi think honestly that its getting too hard to get them and that uncle and straight jacket doctor are a waste of plastic and our money as they are really bad. i know the doctor with beard in regular clothes was in it for less time but it would be better to play with. instead of the monstrosity they call uncle we could have had an astronaut with removable visor and/or variants of it with gold visor and no visor. maybe wave 2 will bring these and an amy from day of the moon

Im not bothered about nephew. its just not a figure im interested in. I already have the glow in the dark ood which in a way IS nephew. I Reserved the silent and stetson doctor. IM SO EXCITED to pick them up on wednesday. 🙂

July 31st, 2011 - 3:11pmI think Argos only has Wave 1a in stock at the moment, too. My store didn’t have any Wave 1b figures. There was actually a very small amount of figures; only the Doctor, Amelia and the two Silence. Nephew wasn’t there.

I told him I wanted the silence but he said what colour skin, he told me id probably prefer the grey one because the pinky peach one didnt look very good and had little detail.

July 31st, 2011 - 8:52amI am no Boo Boo but i have the silence with mouth closed from wave 1a and it looks like the silence but when the two silences ( grey and peach ) are next to each other, the grey looks better, trust me, the peach is more life like and awsome!!! July 30th, 2011 - 11:30pmOh, I didn’t know that the Silence were different in both waves. I got the Wave 1a open-mouth Silence today, along with the Stetson Doctor. I’d like to get Idris and the Area 51 Doctor. I’ve noticed there’s a change in the quality of paintwork. The figures are better than the Series 5 ones, which were brilliant.
