10 years Today – Doctor Who Series 1 Episode One Rose
When Rose Tyler meets a mysterious stranger called the Doctor, her life will never be the same again. Soon she realises that the whole of planet Earth is in danger.

Doctor Who Rose DVDs
The very 1st DVD containg Rose (left) was released on 16 May 2005. This DVD also contained The End of the world and The Unquiet Dead. Later that year the Tardis Box (right) Series One set was released. Smaller cased and updated cover versions followed over the years.
Issue one of The DVD files naturally contained Rose (and the Unquiet Dead). As this series started in the Tenth Doctor era, he was featured on the cover of the accompanying magazine.
Rose was also included in the series of free DVD give-aways by the Sun.
And so it began…
Among The very first 5″ figure releases were Rose, The 9th Doctor and Autons.
