Not wishing to be cynical, but that comment applies to so much merchandise these days.

My local FP recently got a Titan mug in 18 months after it was released.

Even mainstream things like the CB “lego” sets I see online about 12-16 weeks before a shop gets it. I still have not seen a Dalek Skimmer set anywhere (bought the Argos special in the end, but for other reasons).

this is one of the problems i’m having

Merchandise shows up on one site but its months before its on others if at all, we want to feature all merchandise if possible as that’s what the site is about but there is no consistency at all anymore

These are beautiful, I think Matt Smith’s and Paul McGanns are the best.

Will get all but the troughton, tennant and ecclestons.

You can’t choose what one you get. These come in sets of three.

Very nice. Brings back happy memories of collecting the 30th anniversary mugs which featured each doctor with a ‘classic comics’ cover. Great stuff.

Ugh, yet another awesome item only made in America. Doctor Who is a British show, yet they insist on allowing only America to experience all the good product.

Not sure, looks like either zone or Half moon bay product

The problem is all their stuff seems to be getting announced in the USA 1st at the Moment

The thing is of course is that the American markets are known for buying anything with a logo on! Paramount realised this years ago with Star Trek. BBC Worldwide are now exploiting DW in the same way and a lot of the merchandise is aimed solely at the US. You are right, there is a lot more coming out in America, the majority of which is questionable (TARDIS Christmas lights for example) but they dont really seem to know what to do for the UK…

Why is it that every picture of Silvester McCoy look slightly sinister and extremely puzzled. Even whn he looks angry, he doesn’t.

I think it’s because he’s the cunning, slightly manipulative incarnation of the Doctor, and he’s done darker things than most of his other incarnations.
