Doctor Who Mini Titans Have Landed!
Doctor Who Mini Titans Have Landed!
Titan Merchandise is proud to announce our first wave of Doctor Who Titans vinyl figures, arriving in stores this December.
Celebrate the intrepid Time Lord with this unique collaboration between BBC Worldwide and Titan Merchandise, featuring a ‘multiverse’ of figures to collect!
Curated by world-renowned vinyl designer Lunartik, this 16-character adult collectable set (including four super-rare “chase” figures) is based on the global hit TV show Doctor Who and includes stylised interpretations of Matt Smith’s Eleventh Doctor, his amazing time-and-spacecraft, the TARDIS and some of his most notorious foes – including the supremely evil Daleks and the inhuman Cybermen.
Each vinyl figure is 3″ tall and several designs come with character-specific accessories.
All figures are blind-boxed, adding to the mystery and excitement of hunting down all 16 designs.
Available from specialist retailers throughout the UK from 19th December 2012.
If you are lucky enough to track down a Dalek figure – please see the step by step guide for their assembly.

January 2nd, 2013 - 7:17pmFound out the rare figures:
The Eleventh Doctor (blue shirt)
House-Possessed TARDIS
Nephew
Pandorica Cyber Sentry
Andy
December 28th, 2012 - 10:57pmI got a Dalek figure… can I get the arms and eye to stay in the holes ? No chance. The rare ones seem to be the 11th Doctor in various shirts and a green windowed Tardis.
Anonymous
December 29th, 2012 - 7:13pmThere are instructions on their website of how you have to assemble it, you need to heat the top half of the Dalek in hot water first, then put them in which should keep them in place.
As for the rares, there are four. The Eleventh Doctor in his blue shirt, and variants of the TARDIS, a Cyberman and an Ood.

December 27th, 2012 - 12:47pmWent to Forbidden Planet today. There are loads of these figures, but I just could not face spending £160 on a box with no guarantee of a set.
I don’t know what to do. I can actually afford them, but that is not the point, I have read on other forums that die-hard older collectors like myself find this the last straw.
These are simply terrible value for money and the concept of blind packing them is appalling.
As a die hard collector for 25 years and on and off for 10 before that, I am becoming disenchanted by these actions…
Radburn
December 28th, 2012 - 2:04amTotally agree with you! I was prepared to get a full set & buy a sealed case – But looking at the photos of the boxes they appear to be glued down & not the tuck-in type. I’m not prepared to spend out a fortune blind-packed, so my money will go elsewhere. I predict these will be future peg-warmers, as I certainly won’t buy them as they are.
Probably have to go on ebay instead!
STESTONS ARE COOL
December 24th, 2012 - 1:28pmim going on the 27th of december
Andy
December 21st, 2012 - 10:57pmTried my luck and brought one from Forbidden Planet this evening… I got the Tardis. Reminds me a bit of a dog toy ! Very expensive if you want to find the whole set I would imagine.
Radburn
December 23rd, 2012 - 6:32pmHave you got a dog you could try it on? It would be interesting to hear the results?
Anonymous
December 24th, 2012 - 12:48pmBit expensive for a dog toy.
Radburn
December 25th, 2012 - 11:14amActually I’m a bit surprised the BBC have not licensed any animal toys?
A dog-chew Tardis would be great or an Adipose on a string for the cat…

December 21st, 2012 - 7:59pmHas anyone seen any of these in shops yet?
dr who 1999
December 20th, 2012 - 10:09pmif you add this up: they are £8 each, and there are 16 to collect (assuming you don’t get the same one millions of times) 8×16=£126! that is the LEAST we are expected to pay for a collection of these, the LEAST!
Scott
December 20th, 2012 - 3:56pmwhy are people moaning about these i think they are well cool
The Driver
December 20th, 2012 - 3:59pmBecause they are too expensive
Radburn
December 20th, 2012 - 9:10pm…and blind boxed!
Anonymous
December 20th, 2012 - 1:09pmSo does anyone know what the other three rare figures are?
The Driver
December 20th, 2012 - 3:55pmIs there a sheet telling you how rare the figures are?
Anonymous
December 20th, 2012 - 4:17pmNot as far as I’m aware, but the twelve figures that were initially announced are the normal ones, but the other four (including that blue shirted Eleventh Doctor) are the rare ones (there’s another TARDIS, Ood and Cyberman but the variants aren’t known).
Judooning
December 20th, 2012 - 5:22pmProbably be:
Nephew Ood with green eyes/Orb
Dematerialising TARDIS (seethrough)
Cyber Leader
Kroton
December 19th, 2012 - 7:19pmTheae are soooo cheap looking, they are just printed on, and the Tardis looks like something out of DW Adventures, and the doctor looks just weird!
Also I’ve got a new icon!
The Driver
December 19th, 2012 - 8:36pm£8! Even time squad weren’t that much.
dr who 1999
December 19th, 2012 - 7:03pmso basically, this is a really expensive version of the character building figures?
Dalek Sec
December 20th, 2012 - 5:10amExcept i doubt that they are lego compatible, or can be decapitated. They are awesome, but i find them too expensive, and probably should be collected just for fun. Expensive and Blind-Boxed i don’t think this is going to be that popular.
The Driver
December 20th, 2012 - 3:55pmWell, yes and no. They are like cb figures because they are blind packed and you have to build them. But these figures are bigger than cb and more expensive.
dr who 1999
December 20th, 2012 - 4:01pmi WOULD buy them if they weren’t blind-boxed. i would have to spend £100s of pounds to collect them all
Fezmeister
December 19th, 2012 - 7:01pmI’d really like to get some of these, but I don’t like the idea of them being blind-boxed at such a price.
DavidH
December 19th, 2012 - 4:31pmNot as good as the Character Building range IMO. Funny how they call this an ‘adult’ range; I think they look more like toys than CB
ChapWithTheWingsThere
December 19th, 2012 - 5:32pmSee what u mean. They remind me of the Time Squad figures.
McGann is the Doctor
December 19th, 2012 - 12:38pmEwe.
Just, ewe.
GreenAnchorRedWaterfall
December 19th, 2012 - 7:46pmDefinition of Ewe:
A female sheep.
LOL
Dalek Sec
December 20th, 2012 - 4:55amLOLz. Doctor Who Merchandise is lookin pretty poor at the Moment. No offense.
GreenAnchorRedWaterfall
December 23rd, 2012 - 5:00pmThought I’d add in that humorous pun there…
HarryReeves2000
December 19th, 2012 - 10:48amBooboo, did you ever have a page for the Primeval Figure Series, and if you did, may i have the Link?
booboo
December 19th, 2012 - 10:49amno we haven’t got one
luke kelly
December 19th, 2012 - 2:32pmwhere from and how much??????
HarryReeves2000
December 19th, 2012 - 10:47amThey look big? Ar they?
booboo
December 19th, 2012 - 10:48am3″ high
The TARDIS
December 19th, 2012 - 7:42amThe Doctor is bigger than the TARDIS! I quite like the look of these, might get some. But I think that the idea of blind boxing them is a bad one – I want to know what I’m getting, especially if it costs £8 each – it’s too much to end up with doubles! At that price each, it’s wasteful to end up with the same one twice. Apart from the blind boxing, I really like them.
Liason Ice
December 19th, 2012 - 4:59amThey look awesome but I think being in blind packs would hinder the amount sold
Sebatron
December 19th, 2012 - 4:27amHa! It doesn’t seem the Doctor can get into the TARDIS!
Ooooooooh its an Adipose
December 19th, 2012 - 12:02amWhere can you buy these from? I get paid on Friday so would be nice to get one 🙂
CG
December 18th, 2012 - 11:12pmI might get 1or 2 but it is way too costly to get any doubles, you would be taking them back to the shop and i doubt there is anyway of telling which are which in these boxes.
Sebatron
December 19th, 2012 - 4:25amIf the spot in the shops aren’t being watched you could discreetly open the boxes and see which one is in them!
Anonymous
December 19th, 2012 - 5:42pmdo be honnest i dont think theres much wrong with doing if its simply boxed and i mean £8
Radburn
January 7th, 2013 - 7:16amUnfortunately the boxes are glued down. Also inside the box the figures are sealed in a foil pouch. Obviously not taking any chances!
The Driver
December 18th, 2012 - 9:57pmDo you think these will be popular booboo?
booboo
December 18th, 2012 - 10:21pmsteady sellers but not in huge quantities i would think
The Driver
December 18th, 2012 - 10:56pmNot as good as character building?
Anonymous
December 19th, 2012 - 7:44amNo £2 compared to £8 is quite a difference
Imaginethatnodoor
December 18th, 2012 - 9:29pmThey look like bobble heads. Shame they aren’t. I might get a tardis one of eBay just because it would look good on my desk
Judooning
December 18th, 2012 - 8:55pmHmm, after seeing the actual product, i think i’ll pass on these. Which isn’t like me.
I think the style of the Time Squaed figures were slightly better.
HalfPintOfInnes
December 18th, 2012 - 8:45pmSo I’m guessing that the Blue Bowtie Doctor is one of the “Mystery” figures then? As it’s picture on the first image, and then a red one in the second 🙂
I’m sure I;m gonna pick a few of these up, they look too good to miss out on. And I asked my local FP about these and they said they would be unboxing them all, and selling them that way, but at different prices, which is fair enough I guess, just means I will be paying a bit extra, but won’t be getting any doubles!
The Driver
December 18th, 2012 - 9:56pmMaybe there’s two versions to get.
Radburn
December 20th, 2012 - 9:13pmWhich FP? I’m hoping my local one will as well?
Sebatron
December 18th, 2012 - 8:33pmAre you going to collect these booboo?
booboo
December 18th, 2012 - 8:39pmi will get a few, probably not all
The Monitor
December 18th, 2012 - 8:05pmI think we need to club together as a fandom collective and encourage vendors to open them. I’ll happily buy a set, or a box if a set is guaranteed, but at £8 a pop it is too costly for any of us to have doubles. Even a swapping community will lead to disappointment with lost items in the post. Fair enough to not get a swapped trading card, but an £8 figure is a different matter.
I have already read elsewhere that blind packets infuriate ardent collectors, and this set has gone too far. Even some vendors I’ve spoken to agree…
Professor When
December 18th, 2012 - 8:14pmAgreed! These look great, but blind-boxed and 7.99? To paraphrase Doctor 2, ‘Oh my giddy aunt, these are far too expensive!’
The Driver
December 18th, 2012 - 7:54pmAnyone have any idea how much these cost?
booboo
December 18th, 2012 - 7:57pm£7.99 i think
The Driver
December 18th, 2012 - 9:53pmGee! That’s practically the same price as a Dr who 5″ figure.
The Driver
December 18th, 2012 - 7:53pmNow these look pretty expensive, so you don’t want to be getting doubles! Oh and its a shame you can’t feel them like character building figures.
Doctor Stu
December 18th, 2012 - 7:49pmThey look a bit…..weird
booboo
December 18th, 2012 - 7:57pmthey remind me of time squad which i really liked
TheSinkingStar
December 18th, 2012 - 9:28pmTime Squad were great, I remember I was so excited to get a Master figure with the hoodie I bought the entire wave of time squad that had the collect n connect master.
The Driver
December 18th, 2012 - 9:54pmYes, they do remind me a bit of time squad. One good thing I will say about them is that at least they weren’t blind packed!
