Seeds of Doom Set Arriving
23/03/2012 The Doctor Who Seeds of Doom Set containing The Krynoid and 4th Doctor is now Arriving In Forbidden Planet Stores and stock is being sent out to those who pre ordered it.
21/11/2011 Arthur Darvill (Rory) and said on the live Q&A section at this years DVD signing that he has “only Just Seen His figure”. At least we know one is now very possibly on its way.
12/11/2011 In case you hadn’t noticed there are now direct links to the user collection pictures, reviews (a lot more of these coming) and lists. You can find them on the right of the merchandise home page below the “latest updates” box in “Areas of Interest”

October 17th, 2011 - 7:44pmBooboo, I think the new 11th Dr varient (White shirt, red bowtie) that is thaught to be exclusive to FPI, is on the Character options website. Character just class this varient as the standard 11th Dr with blue shirt/bowtie. Like the River varient, you have to ask which one you want by sending them an email.

October 17th, 2011 - 5:57pmsame story, this is for completists. have a look at all Smurfs figurines, tens and tens of slight variations, and officially the values for each variants (expecially the smurfs from 60’s and 70’s) can be very different.

It comes with one bio frame and two sachets of powder, which character have e-mailed me to say will make up to 8 figures. Not sure if each figure needs a bio frame? Apparently these can be ordered separately from their website. Just wondered if anyone has used this set yet? Can’t find any reviews (good or bad) for it anywhere.

October 6th, 2011 - 11:08amyou do the bio frame otherwise you end up with a wobbly jelly, these do however even with the frame only Last for 24 hours before they start to dry out and en up looking like some hideous figure from a horror movie

the cyberleader is a basic cyberman with black bits
but I think the roman auton has his own hood like the skirt on amy and restac, or the weeping anger wings!

i went to a convention and this guy was at least 30 and he bought river song seconds before i went to buy that same one(it was the last one) so ibought one off of his sight and a ganger doctor but i hope some more people see my point

They have great imagination and love acting out the episodes. It’s going to be a Dr Who fest in our house this Christmas!

Though I live in Australia, and funnily enough most of the Doctor Who buyers here are adults, so I don’t have to worry about that problem much.
And all my figures are much loved and out of the packet. 🙂

September 17th, 2011 - 4:06pmYeah whofan4ever, I’m sorry that guy bought the last River out from under you, it must have been quite disappointing. Funnily enough, I’ve had the same thing happen to me (with a different figure) at a convention before.
Some people are quite rude unfortunately.
Luckily not all adult collectors are like that. I often drop my spare (ie Character Building) figures off at my local toystore (I know the owners). They give them out free to the little kids that come into the store. Makes them smile! 😀
