May 2nd, 2024 - 6:58pmI Didn’t See Anything on the Bag, But Does thus contain a free Doctor Who Big Finish Audio Code? Noticed they would usually do this with “Premiereing Episode Preview”/Special Issue like this, which would usually be the only reason I buy these now

April 30th, 2024 - 8:48pmi would not be surprised to learn that the editor is now designing the covers himself as well. looks terrible, like someone’s first go at photoshop.

April 28th, 2024 - 5:59pmAs a subscriber, I am miffed not to get that stunning outer bag. I nearly bought the mag again thinking at least the cover will be different plus I will get the bag, but alas every gets the Beatles cover, so there is less incentive to be a subscriber. I had to buy 600 again to get the bag, but can’t keep doing this.
A few years ago I remember getting a card insert of the outer bag as a subscriber. Not unreasonable today really if the have done this before.

April 26th, 2024 - 2:46pmSome fans may be interested to know that the current issue of SFX Magazine has around 12-16 pages dedicated to the new series of Who. There are also 2 Classic series Art Cards and a 15th Doctor and Ruby Poster as well. The Art Cards are Lee Bindings art work for the Series 15 and 24 The Collection Sets.
The Monitor
April 28th, 2024 - 5:52pmQuite a few similar looking SFX covers recently. I hesitated yesterday as thought this looked like something we already had, but it’s clearly May 24.

April 25th, 2024 - 9:47amNicer cover than the subscriber one IMO. A weird darker lettering throughout much of the issue – don’t know if a printing issue or a new ‘house style’?
demdike@Cult Labs
April 25th, 2024 - 1:50pmThat’s the ‘bag’ part that holds the mag, cards and supplement. The cover is the same as the subscriber one.
Which incidentally i really don’t like. It looks like cheap cosplay with those fake Beatles..ugh.

April 26th, 2024 - 2:58pmFake Beatles? Why be angry about them using actors to play actor roles. Or do you expect the real Beatles to be in the episode? Good luck with that!
