    At least we have the audiosets as well. Great actor and very versatile, I was kinda hoping in my heart that he would make it to the 60th anniversary and appear. I,m so glad they got him on board when they did now.

    If anyone needs convincing how good an actor John Hurt was, check out The Art of Noise album “The Seduction of Claude Debussy” from 1999. Hurt’s narration to AoN’s music creates such an atmosphere, it’s difficult not to get immersed in the story of the album. Amazing…

    He was in the show for such a short time yet made such a big impact. If he had had a proper tenure as the Doctor, I have no doubt he’d be remembered as the best incarnation to date
