I see in the news section they mention the two new writers… I have met Peter Harness as he used to go to the school I currently go to and he came in to do a talk in which he revealed that he was writing an episode…!

Love the great news that BBC Books is going to release a new novel on Thursday 31sy July 2014 called ‘Engines of War’ which features John Hurt’s War Doctor . . . . WITH A COMPANION !!!!.

Probably another Time Lord no doubt. I don’t like the look of the Time War Dalek on the left of the cover on the upcoming novel, looks like a Time War Dalek’s been photoshopped to include the gun of the Special Weapons Gunner Dalek, which I’m not against, it just looks kinda naff on the cover that’s all.

The novel is said to end just before the start

The novel is said to end just before the start of ‘The Day of the Doctor’ from the War Doctor’s point of view.

Ben Aaronovitch seemed like a good writer, writing my two favourite 7th doctor stories (he also has a really good last name) wonder if he’ll be featured in this and wonder what he has to say.
And nice cover too, I like the ‘bad wolf’ in the background 😛

I saw Ben about a year or two ago. He was in Romford’s Waterstones doing a book signing. Don’t know what the book itself was thou, but it was not related to Doctor Who.

Kinda regret not thanking him really for writing one of my favorite Doctor Who stories, his 1988 epic ‘Remembrance of the Daleks’.

I’d love to meet him. For me Battlefield just beats Remembrance but their both easily the best in the 7th doctor era.

I’ve met the guy so many times now, always seems to be at the events I’m at and he is really lovely. Love his two stories.

BTW, it was probably one of his Rivers of London novels which are pretty good.

I’m going to see Sylvester this Saturday as his going to be in Barking at the Barking Learning Centre with Sophie Aldred and actor Gareth Armstrong who played Giuliano in the story ‘The Mask of Mandragora’. They are gonna be there from 10am to 1pm.
