Look up my Deviant Art page [DoctorWhoOne] and you can view a new upload of the Tardis on Gallifrey side of the poster on my Bedroom wall with the 12 free art cards of each Doctor from the 50th Anniversary Souvenir Special around the poster going clockwise. The picture is called –

Doctor Who Magazine Issue 471 Poster

I’ve posted the picture to DWM’s Galaxy Forum with a small message saying thank you to them for making the awesome cover into a Poster πŸ˜€

1 day they should do ‘Gallifrey Falls No More’ as a poster πŸ˜‰

You don’t have to subscribe to Doctor Who Magazine or any other Magazine available to anyone.

I’d only probably subscribe if there was no shops around me that did not sell DWM, but since I have 3 WH Smith shops local to me that do, 1 here in Ilford, the other 2 are in nearby Barking, 1 of which is at the local Train Station, the other inside the local Shopping Centre, then I don’t need to subscribe to buy the Magazine myself, which comes out TODAY !! πŸ˜€

    YES!
I love the Daleks so this is (admittedly unexpected), but perfect!!
I wonder why they’re releasing it now though – I understand that they had to do the actual 50th issue first (which was amazing) and then the Christmas issue, but surely the first one after that would have been better (just after, or near the end of, the transmission of The Dead Planet (the first dalek story))

The January issue had to be the “Peter Capaldi is The Doctor” cover. It’s tradition

Err . . . no they don’t, and I should know cos I’ve been buying DWM every single month since they originally re-vamped the magazine back in late 2004 or early 2005 when they had Christopher Eccleston and Billie Piper on the cover as the 9th Doctor and Rose Tyler and they’ve never done a Dalek special each time someone has played the Doctor. The only Dalek special I can think off before this issue comes out was the 50th Anniversary special they did which was followed by the Companions special and then the Doctor’s Special.

    • Floppy Who

      March 5th, 2014 - 10:05pm

They certainly didn’t do a dalek special way back in the 1980s when the 5th, 6th and 7th Doctors were imminent…

    • Johnny

      March 6th, 2014 - 10:25am

@ Doctor Who One is correct as I have been keeping an eye on DWM since it was called Doctor Who Weekly.

    • Doyouhearthem

      March 6th, 2014 - 10:33am

I’m sure what -Mcgann is the Doctor- is trying to say is to remind us of the Radio times parliament dalek in 2005 and the Dalke special they did in January/February 2010 before the beginning of Matt Smiths’ era. SO 3/4 times there has actually been a Dalek sspecial proclaiming the new Doctor.
