It examines the moments that defined the show, including the adolescence that brought major format changes, the teenage years with Doctor Who in rude health, its incredibly successful return to television in 2005 – and asks what the next seven years may hold in store…

September 14th, 2012 - 9:55amJust got this in Aus. Really good and nice cover!
McGann is the Doctor
July 17th, 2012 - 3:35pmI’m returning home today, after two weeks in Malta.
Brought this magazine with me, it was a great read but to be honest, I should have brought atleast ONE more magazine.
I read EVERYTHING in a DWM pretty fast. For two weeks, I should have brought one of my DWM companions. 🙂
BTW, does anyone else think this cover would have been better with Matt Smith on the LEFT HALF of the cover ? His long slick of hair is on that end, it ruins the illusion to have Matt Smith on the left half because of his hair thingy. 🙂
Keeper of the Glory
July 17th, 2012 - 7:24pmIf you read it fast, you’re not reading it properly. It usually takes me a week read an entire issue.
McGann is The Doctor.
July 21st, 2012 - 2:32pmOhno, I don’t read it fast ! Honestly, it does take me about a week, I was egzadgerating. 😀

June 30th, 2012 - 11:46pmMatt Smith doesn’t have brown eyes . ❓ Strange.
Anyway, I hope they published my letter to the Galaxy Forum. My name is ?????? Steenson .
McGann is the Doctor
July 17th, 2012 - 3:32pmDamnit, they didn’t publish my letter. ❗
Give me a Dalek any day
June 28th, 2012 - 4:34pmAnother great issue as always! Nice to know a third volume of The Sarah Jane Companion, which will feature the final stories and the planned stories for Series 5 and 6, is currently in preparation. 🙂
Can’t wait for next months bumper issue! 😀
Bazinga
June 28th, 2012 - 5:01pmOn the next time page the Doctor’s hand on the picture looks weird?
Dalek Jake
June 28th, 2012 - 6:27pmHow do you know there will be a Sarah Jane volume 3?
Give me a Dalek any day
June 28th, 2012 - 6:45pmIt’s in Galaxy Forum as a response to a question asking whether there will be a third Sarah Jane Companion. 🙂

Jason doctorwhoone
June 27th, 2012 - 7:51amNice cover, but it does seem abit odd thou that the left side has the 9th Doctor and not the 10th’s, but don’t worry, I know it’s ment to be the 9th cos he was the first of the New Series Doctors 7 years ago.
Dalek Jake
June 26th, 2012 - 8:49pmThat is one nice cover, love the green affect.
BB
June 26th, 2012 - 8:51pmI agree about the green, it makes it look alien in a way! 😆
Zak
June 26th, 2012 - 8:34pmHi.
What are these magazines like?
I stopped getting doctor who adventures a long time ago now as they where too young.
These any better?
Thanks.
Esterath
June 26th, 2012 - 8:35pmThese are so good! Fantastic quality every issue. Welcome to the DWM world!
BB
June 26th, 2012 - 8:36pmThese are excellent, I do recommend them!!!
BB
June 26th, 2012 - 7:49pmDoesn’t this come out on 28th? I confused!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BB
June 26th, 2012 - 7:49pm*I’m confused* 😳
Jason doctorwhoone
June 27th, 2012 - 7:48amYes, this Thursday, every 4 weeks on a Thursday they come out.
stewie
June 26th, 2012 - 6:05pmchristopher played his character well
BOOBOO JR
June 26th, 2012 - 7:33pmShame he left after such a short time on the show 🙁
BB
June 26th, 2012 - 7:50pmI know. He could have done at least one more series. 🙁
The Time Lord of Doom
June 27th, 2012 - 9:39amI didn’t really like him but another series wouldn’t be bad.
KRYNOIDY
June 26th, 2012 - 5:42pmMy two favourite Modern Doctors 😀 I grew up with the relaunched series as well as Classic Who on DVD mostly Tom Baker
BB
June 26th, 2012 - 7:52pmI prefer David Tennant to Eccleston, but that’s probably because I started with Tennant and Eccleston had only 1 series to portray his character – not long enough to embelish on it – well i think that anyway 😆
the TARDIS
June 26th, 2012 - 8:12pmI grew up with Eccleston and Tennant, but for years before had a healthy diet of repeats on UK Gold. Because of how much Classic Who I watched, I fail to see why people rave so much about Tennant (no offence, but…). He is, to me, just another Doctor.
Esterath
June 26th, 2012 - 8:16pmSame here. To me Tom Baker and matt Smith are THE Doctor.
Give me a Dalek any day
June 26th, 2012 - 8:35pmAlthough I started with Eccleston, Matt Smith is definitely MY Doctor. I had seen some classics during Eccleston/Tennant’s run, but when Matt Smith came along there was just something about his era that made me want to go back and watch more. Long live the Smith era! 😀
Esterath
June 26th, 2012 - 8:36pmLong live Matt Smith!!
BB
June 26th, 2012 - 8:38pmSorry to spoil the Matt Smith thing but I do think he should regenerate either on/shorty after the 50th Anniversary
Give me a Dalek any day
June 26th, 2012 - 9:01pmI think he should stay untill at least 2015. I’m not ready to see him regenerate just yet. 😉
The Time Lord of Doom
June 27th, 2012 - 9:42amI started with Eccleston, but Tennant is MY Doctor. I couldn’t believe it that he regenerated. I’m not saying Smith is bad. He’s awesome and a good actor, but I basically got to see more of Tennant cause Eccleston had one series and I got used to David Tennant. His era was the best!!!! Although the best series is series 6.
Rooners
June 26th, 2012 - 4:53pmIt’s mad (in a good way) that there are now fans that have “grown up” with DW just from the 2005 relaunch.
DoctorWho4Eva
June 26th, 2012 - 5:01pmI Know. I can actually still remember sitting down to watch ‘Rose’ back in 2005 and since then. Doctor Who has become a big part of (not just my life) but me as well.
the TARDIS
June 26th, 2012 - 5:24pmI agree. It’s really good that DW has got an ever-growing fan base, but I don’t think anyone can be classed as a “proper” Who fan if they only watch “new who”. People who only like the new series, whilst still fans, are new who fans, not fans of Doctor Who in general. It’s the same for people who think New-Who isn’t as good as old-who and don’t watch it.
BB
June 26th, 2012 - 7:32pmI actually started watching DW with Smith and Jones, but after the first couple of eps, I bought my first DVD, and that was Series 1 Vol 1, which contains Rose, and I do think it’s a really good debut and an excellent relaunch
the TARDIS
June 26th, 2012 - 4:38pmLove the cover! DWM never really do bad ones, but some are even better than others. Never miss an issue, looking forward to buying it.
Black TARDIS
June 26th, 2012 - 11:37pmThe best cover was the one with the crack on its own on the front cover. THAT WAS EPIC!
Give me a Dalek any day
June 27th, 2012 - 8:57amI liked the Crack in Time cover, but I think one of my favourites is definitely the fold out Dalek one. 🙂

June 26th, 2012 - 3:33pmgreat cover cant wait to get it on the 28th of june 2012 and i cant wait for the comic strip
BB
June 26th, 2012 - 7:53pmI know, it was an excellent cliffhanger!
Esterath
June 26th, 2012 - 7:57pmI don’t get the ending of the last part of ‘Sticks and Stones’?
BB
June 26th, 2012 - 8:09pmIts where the hand of monos is found in the Tardis console – Monos is the teenage alien goth that grafitied Monos on London’s attractions
Esterath
June 26th, 2012 - 8:18pmNo, the bit in the TARDIS where the monitor is turned on and a voice tells the Doctor:”This next bit is going to hurt!” It’s not resolved in ‘The Cornucopia Caper Part 1’!
BB
June 26th, 2012 - 8:21pmthats because it’s either going to be revealed in the cornucopia caper in a future part, or in a future story
Esterath
June 26th, 2012 - 8:22pmMaybe it’s the new story arc?
BB
June 26th, 2012 - 8:25pmpossibly

June 27th, 2012 - 2:26pmYou’re not on your own there Oscar, I was totally confused by it.
