Don’t get me wrong I love the BluRay Collection boxes, But the US slim line BluRay box looks better. Takes up less space due to it being in the BluRay boxes instead of the cardboard UK version. More slimline

If space is an issue then they’re certainly a really good option.

However, that’s the only benefit as far as I can see. The UK sets have a lavish, elegant look to them. The US sets look like they were put together with the minimum effort, lacking both booklets and much of the box art.. Furthermore, they’re inconsistent – some are wider than others, some have slipcovers while others don’t. some have content list inserts. I’m afraid my collector’s OCD couldn’t cope with that I’m afraid.

I have all of the UK sets and three of the US sets. The UK sets are so much better.

      Chris Howarth AND Prowl 1701:
Didn’t know they had limitations. Thought all the content was the same as the UK and also had the booklet. Just the slimline BluRay box just seems to look a bit better as it’s smaller. If they were all the same (box, art, content, booklet, slipcovers) id have probably got them. Most likely they will be released similar to the US versions after the whole Collection is done, but obviously that’s years away.
It is a shame with BluRay and DVD that they are not all issued with slipcovers. Seems to be hit and miss.

I completely agree with the posts about the packages. The UK ones are big and bulky. Much prefer the Azusa ones.
