The Thirteenth Doctor meets the illustrious artist Frida Kahlo in the last of three brand-new novellas starring inspiring characters from history.

Some art can be deadly . . .

Young Frida Kahlo is angry. Injured in a terrible accident, she lives with constant pain and worries that her dreams are unreachable.

But when the TARDIS lands in Mexico City – drawn by a strange disturbance in its energy fields – Frida’s life is turned upside down. Aliens have arrived, taking over the bodies of children and killing anyone who gets in their way.

With the fate of the Earth at stake, the Doctor and Frida must find a way to understand their alien invaders, and each other.

Agree Brian. More target please! I’ve decided to get these icon books and the wonderland book but the decision is made in terms of short story collections. I’m not getting the prequel book or the 15 doctors book. There are two factual books I think listed on Amazon and again I’m not getting them. The three original hardcover books will be looked at individually but I’m not too keen on hardback books now for who. I find the original fiction just isn’t exciting me these days which is a shame. I was hoping we would get Frazer’s evil as a target book this year but there is nothing on the horizon and target books are normally announced in the January. These icon books are sort of the make or break for me in terms of original fiction. I am happy to get the target range in future although I will only be getting paperbacks. If that means having to wait a year for them then so be it. The hardcover of church is good, but it just doesn’t fit on the shelves due to its format. So paperback only from now on.

The “Target” book of Chrusch on Ruby Road, is due in July (bang when we used to get 5 new targets. so I thought maybe it was 1 of the 4). Maybe the budget for Authors has been used up on the New Novels for Ncuti , plus saturating the Market with New Books. So this year only Ruby Road as a Target(feels odd if so)

It has to be A Target though does’nt it with a proper Cover 🙂 Jeff Cummins Single Image would be enough. Or a Talons Style cover.

Sorry Bryan, didn’t make that clear. Church was due in July but it is delayed until January 2025 now. I’m hoping more target paperbacks get announced for this year but it seems we won’t get any in the traditional slot as they would normally have been announced the previous January. Was really hoping for more this year as we are so far behind.
