April 27th, 2024 - 3:23pmI just bought this figure on eBay except it’s the version that has the dark scanlines. Is that rarer? I’m seeing a lot of the BBC Shop clear plastic versions (as pictured on this page) but none of very few of the dark scanlines version. If I understand correctly, was that version only released in America?
Just seen an Amazon listing for it that’s reasonably cheap actually, so I’m guessing it’s not that rare. Just curious which one is the rarer figure.

September 27th, 2015 - 1:18pmGlad they brought out this figure as i display all the doctors on one shelf and this figure i placed just behind (and to the right) of my normal 10th doctor figure just to represent the wasted regeneration energy from Stolen Earth episode. So a quick count makes Capaldi the 14th figure. Apart from that, you are right. It is pretty useless.
