December 16th, 2013 - 12:06amOrdered this when on sale for £10 and using a 20% off code DOCTOR on BBC Shop but cancelled when I realised it came in a plastic bag not packaging. Kind of ruins it being a limited edition figure if you can’t keep it sealed in original packaging. Don’t really like the figure just wanted it since It was so cheap and limited.

CyberSlave2013
December 2nd, 2013 - 8:31pmJust ordered mine. Looks like the BBC are fans of Hologram figures. I really want a Hologram 11th Doctor. Or a Hologram Dalek or Cyberman! Hologram Cyberman would be ghost Cyberman though.
James A
December 9th, 2013 - 1:26amYeah – in canon with the series would be a Ninth Doctor (from Parting of the Ways) and a Cyberman from Army of Ghosts. A transparent Cyberman was sold on ebay a while back, but I’m guessing it was just a prototype.

December 2nd, 2013 - 10:49amIs it any wonder people are disillusioned with this range when they can,t even forward any dates. they draw you in and then nothings ever heard of.I don,t think its taken off in the way they expected. Long live the 5 inch classics. Better be something worth while next year.

RexisnotyourDoctor
December 3rd, 2013 - 4:44pmMine arrived yesterday and I finally got round to opening it today. I love it. It’s not just transparent, the jacket and head have a ‘spangly’ effect that makes the whole figure look appropriately Christmassy by happy coincidence. In fact it’s being incorporated into our decorations somehow this year.
I imagine this is how the Ice Governess figure might/will look if CO ever get round to doing that Snowmen set that was rumoured a while back. Hint hint…

November 27th, 2013 - 3:53pmFrom Matt Smith onwards, actually, apart from re-releases/variants as part of 11 Doctors sets or series like the TRU Doctors/Daleks
BlueBrickTARDIS
November 27th, 2013 - 5:29amThis is quite a bad cop-out excuse for a convention exclusive – not just any convention, either, but the 50th anniversary convention. They could have made some more effort and given us a figure like, oh I don’t know, the War Doctor? Sighhhh.
James A
November 26th, 2013 - 9:30pmI’m counting more that his is from Blink, if it were Doomsday their should be more colour.

November 27th, 2013 - 3:53pmIt is from whenever there is a see through 10th Doctor.

November 26th, 2013 - 9:28pmThey should make a hologram 9th Doctor now! OOH-OOH! and a Cyber-ghost from Army of Ghosts when the Cybermen start to fully emerge from the paraell Earth 😀
bow tie wearing stranger
November 28th, 2013 - 1:58pmFrom the classic era – Sylvester McCoy’s Doctor.
How about a transparent(mostly) transporting/materialising Dalek – showing a Dalek creature inside a seethrough shell as it’s slowly arriving via teleport beam.
lot’s of uses for transparent plastic – doesn’t all have to be from the current series.

RexisnotyourDoctor
November 27th, 2013 - 1:50pmAs it’s specifically referred to as a ‘Holographic Doctor’, that would suggest it’s from Blink, rather than Doomsday, which was more of a ‘projection’ of the Doctor himself.
I don’t care really, it’s a NEW 5″ VARIANT!! Possibly the last we’ll get from NuHu now.
I Ended the Time War
November 27th, 2013 - 2:52pmBut he’s not blue in the episode, just a clear hologram
