Can anyone confirm wether or not there’s going to be an evil of daleks figurine made as well as the emperor dalek as this would look great alongside it ,it would also be interesting to see if eaglemoss is going to make any other missing story figurines as the werewolf suggested it would be nice to see more classical figures added.

I know the first two specials were priced@ £15.99 and the last three have been priced@ £16.99. So how come this one is priced @£17.99 ??

The price has gone up again. For subscribers and regulars. See ‘chart’ below:

Specials 1-2 £15.99 (regular price), £14.99 (subscriber price)
Specials 3-5 £16.99 (regular price), £15.99 (subscriber price)
Specials 6-? £17.99 (regular price), £16.99 (subscriber price)

It has nothing to do with size at all, it was entirely coincidental that the first price rise coincided with a few larger specials.

Anyone know if this is the reason £16.99 has just come out of my account? It’s usually £15.99 for the specials…and this special is selling on FP for £16.14 so not sure if this is what that money is for…and if so why subscribers pay more than non subscribers?

Because they may not have a subscriber discount this time around, and as has been pointed out the price was £15.999 regular and £14.99 for subscribers at one point, and prices have gone up since then.

Why arent Eaglemoss getting in new stock, I know were over half way through the collection but anybody who came late to collecting just can,t get any old issues, even the special editions are few and far between. They could at least reproduce some of the most wanted. Hows this supposed to encourage people to continue with this range if theres no availability. Is it any wonder people are selling off their partial collections on ebay.

Slightly of topic but I recently picked up the most recent standard issue from my local supplier ( moonbase cyberman ) however before I opened it I realised one of the handles had snapped off, would it be worth the hassle sending the figure alone back (still in box) and asking for a new one or should I ignore the hassle and just order another copy?

Not sure how it works when you get them from a shop but as a subscriber, I’ve had a damaged figurine and when I called them , they sent a replacement figure and just told me to keep/throw away the damaged one….however it did take over a week for the replacement to arrive.

Shopwise it’s around 15th. November. So it should be available in place’s like WHSmith for either Issue # 58 Auton Dummy (5/11/15) or Issue # 59 Necros Dalek (19/11/15)

I alway’s speak to the staff in shops in advance so they can make sure to Order it in as a Special Issue.

    • The Werewolf

      August 26th, 2015 - 4:09pm

Well, there isn’t really a ‘normal special price’ anyway. Specials 1 and 2 cost £15.99 (or £14.99 for subscribers) whilst Specials 3, 4 and 5 cost £16.99 (or £15.99 for subscribers), which is at least partly attributed to the fact that Specials 3-5 are bigger and use more material than Specials 1 & 2.

I don’t collect these figurines, but I am interested in this one especially. Always loved this Dalek design.
Couple questions though, will it be in the shops, or would I have to get it off Ebay?
Also will the finished product have all the wires/cords coming out of it or not?

    • The Werewolf

The figurine does not have the wires/cords/tubes. You can see the pic in the link a few below, or on the preview bit with the Chantho as the icon.

    • THE ERGON

      August 26th, 2015 - 12:31pm

The tubes and the wiring are the whole point, that’s what makes it unique, so why the omission?

    • booboo

      August 26th, 2015 - 1:03pm

i think the problem is the tubes and wires were attached to the set which would be far to expensive to include within this price bracket

i do think it would be good however if they could be included the wires (but not attached) for those wishing to create their own scene otherwise you would have a lot of wires just dangling about which I’m sure would be nightmare for breakages

  • Adipose Industries

    August 20th, 2015 - 3:29pm

I have high hopes that we will see an ordinary Cybus Cyberman, along with the Cyber Sentry from the Pandorica Opens. Maybe a Cyber Shade too. Even a stone Dalek, after they have done the five Paradigm Daleks. As for classics, what about TotA Auton, with the daffodils, or a War Machine. Even classic versions for Silurians, Sontarons and Ice Warriors are a must. Who agrees with me? 🙂

    • Adipose Industries

      August 20th, 2015 - 3:30pm

For specials, I want characters like the Racnoss and Lazarus, but I can’t see that happening due to their size. WereWolf is a possible one though.

    • The Werewolf

      August 20th, 2015 - 4:37pm

Three of the specials are not to scale, and the Racnoss Empress has been mentioned, as has the Werewolf (though the Werewolf is less likely to happen.

Classic Sontaran, Silurian and Ice Warriors are, in my opinion, much more of a priority than classic Autons, we’ve been waiting since the early stages of the collection for them, but the new who Auton doesn’t show up til 58 so no rush yet, and both the Sontarans and Ice Warriors have been in more stories than Autons, and Sontarans and Silurians are I think better known.

I wouldn’t mind a regular Cybus Cyberman with gun arm, and a Cyber Shade, but I hope they don’t bother with a Pandorica Guard, a Wheel in Space Cyberman, the original Cyber Controller and a Revenge of the Cybermen Cyberman are all much better and more important.

I also have no liking for a War Machine, much prefer a Yeti.

However, I must say, your suggestions are certainly some of the most sensible I’ve seen.

I do think the collection is still too lacking in “unique” classic monsters and hope that Sharaz Jek, Sutekh etc arrive soon.

    • I’m….

      August 20th, 2015 - 4:39pm

They could also do the TARDIS Console for classics

    • Adipose Industries

      August 20th, 2015 - 9:28pm

Thank you for the compliment 🙂 I actually agree with the Yeti idea. I don’t really know why I want a Cyber Sentry Pandorica Guard as a figurine….just has something about it I guess. Do you think there are any figurines in the collection so far that were a little random? Heavenly Host and Brannigan spring to mind for me.

    • The Werewolf

      August 21st, 2015 - 12:27am

Handbot as well as Brannigan, Heavenly Host definately. Vastra since she’s the same design as a regular new-series Silurians. Some others are borderline. I think things like that happen partially because those on top happen to really like them, and partially just to hold some of the ‘better’ stuff back.

We all have stuff that we really like even if they are a bit random. For example, I love the Sycorax and would love a Krillitane, and Styggron the Kraal – though I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t make one one of Syggron.

    • Adipose Industries

      August 21st, 2015 - 12:54pm

I completely agree. One last question, after the seven special Daleks are released, what will they do after that? Will they do more Daleks? Or just not do anymore? Maybe the Progenitor Daleks or something….

    • Adipose Industries

      August 21st, 2015 - 12:55pm

I would also like Krillitane, and maybe a Series 2 ClockWork Droid. That would be a hard one for them to paint, but nice addition to the collection.

    • The Werewolf

      August 21st, 2015 - 4:28pm

I think Ben Robinson said that there will be another couple of Rare Daleks, though they’ve not decided which ones. The specifically designed the plinth in a way to allow us to squeeze a couple of extra ones on if we need to.

I like the Series 2 Clockwork Droids too, but I have a feeling that the Half-face Man replaced it, especially since it was going to be around issue 40 or so, and the HFM ends up 41.

    • Adipose Industries

      August 21st, 2015 - 6:00pm

Well, you win some you lose some I guess. Wonder if we’ll see a Genesis Ark…I know it’s more of a prison than an actual Dalek, but they’ve done vehicle type things before with the Cyber King. What do you think about that, Werewolf?

    • The Werewolf

      August 21st, 2015 - 8:31pm

The Genesis Ark would certainly be a pretty unique one, I’d say its unlikely but, now that you mention it, I wouldn’t be surprised at all. The collection is pretty Dalek-centric and like the 2/3 Emperors, Hybrid Sec and Special Weapons Dalek help to add variety. But then again the Ark isn’t sentient unlike, say, the TARDIS. The Cyber King isn’t either, but it is a robot controlled by Miss Hartigan as well as being a ship. So if it happened, it would only be if the collection got extended past 100.
As for whether I whether I think it’d make a good figurine, well I’d prefer say a Mechanoid which is slightly Dalek related, but I have a soft spot for the Series 2 Cult of Skaro and their Genesis Ark.

I’m hoping that it is a VERY early model; it just doesn’t really resemble anything at the moment and as those on the FB page have noted, the colours aren’t quite right yet. If they could find a way to do something with the wires it would vastly improve the figure.
