They are outstanding. I’m over the moon with Drathro, if they ever do a Paradise Towers cleaner robot I’d be ecstatic.

    Seconded.
Love the Drathro figure. Hoping for more 80s figures (and Tom’s later years – good to see the Pirate Captain). Hoping for more human faced supervillains – the Toymaker, Monk, Rani, Black Guardian.

I would love to see a Brigadier, Yates and Benson set. But are they companions or jest recurring characters? would make a good specials set.

This collection is insane. It’s seriously good. I really wished I’d subscribed at the very beginning. I have to rely on eaglemoss shop or FP.
They are worth every penny though. Those two Doctors are great but the Ice Warrior and the Master are the two in pining for.

Nice to see a Zarbi – but it needs a Menoptera to accompany it. (and a bonus optera as well).

Some good figurines to come! I really like the new Third Doctor figurine, what a terrific paint job and such an iconic pose. The collection’s first version of the third doctor, from the Green Death, is my favourite figurine of the collection so far. The pose of the figurine can be just as important as the painting. That colouring on the classic Ice Warrior is really very good too. With the Pirate Captain, Zarbi, Drathro and Anthony Ainley’s Master too, this collection is such a celebration of Doctor Who!

Brilliant…..Drathro…..a special I presume due to the size? And fantastic to see The Ainley Master …..nearly a 150 issues in, are there any obvious monster ‘gaps’……I can think of Sil and maybe The Nimon…….anything else?

There are tons I can think of-Sutekh, the Kraals, Magnus Greel, Peg Dolls, Wooden King and Queen, the Snowmen, Sandmen, etc. I’d also like improved figures of some of the early new series monsters, like a serene Weeping Angel or a Possessed Ood, maybe a helmeted Judoon. Classic Davros figures would be fab too.

Special Edition wise from the classic era how about Arcturus, The eight leg queen (now Eaglemoss can do Good legs), Fendahl, Kroll, Mara and robot cleaner (paradise towers).

They always have an “end date” because of their licence but it can be pushed back indefinitely as long as sales hold up and the BBC are happy to continue.

The only ones I’ve bought so far are the TARDIS (which was poorly painted) and the Wirrn (fantastic). This photo presumably shows the best paint apps you can get. AInley, Pertwee, Trial Robot etc look excellent but Jodie doesn’t look like anyone I recognise.

We don’t have a licence for SJA, but it might be worth investigating.

      October 31st, 2018 - 9:51am

Please do investigate 🙂 I’d love Sarah Jane ones …I’m asking big cheif for a SJA and I think Silva screen should do a sound track …I bet there would be a lot of takers they just need to do a survey and guage interest 😀

    • booboo

      November 1st, 2018 - 9:04am

even though there are some great figurine possibilities in SJA its a pity BBC Studios wont turn a “blind eye” to the Trixter as it was mentioned in Doctor Who if not seen, i think its the figure most people would want but SJA would require a whole new license as would anything from Torchwood.

Daffodil Auton is about the top my list right now.

The Death Dalek should have a black gun – they clearly must have taken reference from the Character Option’s Sound Fx version . . .

It’s quite humorous, as of course the cliffhanger to Episode One is a camera zoom in depicting the death ray firing. Putting that aside there are some inspired choices being showcased – the Zarbi, Drathro and Ainley Master in particular.

    • Neil

      October 31st, 2018 - 9:21am

We haven’t used Character’s figurines as reference. But that’s a great spot, and I didn’t mean to take a shot of the early version of the figurine that now has the right blaster. I hope you subscribe… These Dalek figurines were made for people like you 🙂

And you just wait for the next “Rare Dalek” figurine…

The Ainley Master is issue 144 (and the version is at the back of the pic as he’s not quite right). Sorry for the delays with the Missy figurine but there are ongoing difficulties which we are doing our best to sort out.
