    The Cybermen Merchandise has 1980’s on it was well and no on complained about that either.

    As the comment says they clearly doing a decade merchandise series, Daleks Cybermen maybe more, so yes the date is important.

    This would be so cool without the “Dalek 1980s” tacked on.
    Yes, it’s a Dalek, we can all see that but is anyone really desperate to be able to clarify from what year it is?

      Nothing wrong with it

      Clearly going to be a series so the year is important otherwise you just get loads of pin badges with Dalek on them which would be ridiculous

      yes big collector of pin badges and they need the identifying decade / year on them.

      how would having loads of dalek pin badges without the decade be ridiculous? the TARDIS badges didn’t have years and I didn’t see a anybody complaining about it.

      Personally I’d have liked some sort of ident of which Doctos TARDIS it was or the years it was used from/till. And I’ve always liked having a title name on each design especially on all the monster stuff they’ve done in recent years.

      Agreed, it looks cheap and tacky. The same design on a t shirt or sweat shirt looks silly with the wording.
