The BBC binned old Dr. Who serials, you will never have a full set!

true, but if the collection finishes at 140 there’ll still be a lot of episodes from the 70s that won’t have been released as well at 2 seasons of Matt Smith

It’s turned into an expensive luxury really – I’ve no idea if it’s going to continue past issue 140 yet

They sent out a new binder around issue 120 with no instructions on how to file the contents. Is theere an official way or just DIY?

Hi Robert – this is part of the dvd files series that has been running for about 3 or 4 years with a Dr Who story released every 2 weeks. This particular issue was Unearthly Child, The Daleks has been released a few months ago. They are ‘vanilla’ releases with a magazine but some people still collect them (including me) though if you only want the stories then yes, the bbc releases are better for extras and indeed in price.

This is An Unearthly Child and was released the week of the 50th anniversary. Since then there’s been the first two parts of Trial of a Time lord. No mention yet of whether it will go beyond issue 140 and there have been many problems with the recent issues in terms of customers not getting issues for weeks at a time.

Same here! Is this now subscription only or can you still pick it up at newsagents?

Selected newsagents still have it, but you won’t find them in shops often.
