Doctor Who Demon Quest Red and Black Vinyl LP

Available to order from www.amazon.co.uk and www.zavvi.com

Limited Boxset Includes Signed Tom Baker Print & 10LP’s on Red & Black 140-Gram Vinyl.

“Mrs Wibbsey, you may have done something absolutely catastrophic!”

For the first time on limited edition vinyl, Demon Records presents a second series of unique audio adventures starring Tom Baker as the Doctor, following the success of Doctor Who – Hornet’s Nest. Once again every copy includes an exclusive, frameable portrait of the Fourth Doctor, hand signed by Tom Baker himself – just one of the treats inside this stunningly designed package.

An intricately die-cut, removable outer sleeve reveals a Demonic lidded box, inside which are 10 individual, beautifully illustrated LP sleeves featuring full cast and credits for each of the five stories.

The Time Lord’s encounters with the mysterious Demon are detailed in The Doctor’s Journal, a large 16-page full colour booklet featuring notes and illustrations from this epic pursuit through Time.

Presented across 10 x 140g alternating Red and Black vinyl discs, this full-cast audio adventure by Paul Magrs stars Tom Baker as the Doctor, with Susan Jameson as Mrs Wibbsey and Richard Franklin as Mike Yates.

The supporting cast includes Nigel Anthony, Samuel West, Jan Francis, Trevor White, Lorelei King and Finty Williams, and original sound design accompanies the familiar Doctor Who theme from the BBC Radiophonic Workshop.

I’ve noticed recently, Peter Davisons started signing with a “V” after his name.
He never used to though, as I’ve a few Trading Cards and 1st Day covers of his where he’s only signed his name.

This is Brilliant. So Glad they were able to do Demon, Hopefully the same treatment for Serpent Crest. Maybe a mini box set for The Adventures of Mrs Wibsey and the 4th Doctor. I think there have been 3 or 4 stand alone stories.

If I remember correctly there were only 600 ltd for UK for Hornets,It sa6s LTD Edition again so maybe only 600 or even 500 if a few got price dropped.

from none to a considerable number of Vinyl releases. Oink Creative and Demon have done a superb job on them all.

Glad this has finally shown up in the UK legitimately. As usual it looks gorgeous.
It will look great on the shelf at the side of Hornets nest.
I’m holding off from ordering upfront again though, hopefully it’ll come down to around £100 then I’ll snap it up again.

Gorgeous looking set. Love the Tom print.
As others mention, will wait to see if price drops. Off the back of this thread, have just bought Hornet for £96 on Azn. Cheapest I’ve seen it so far. Wonder if it’ll go much cheaper. 164 copies were available.
Yes Coleman, BCS Tom 18th !
      Waiting on him too.
Have lost track it was so long ago that he was ordered.
Is that approaching two or three years now???

We will have been waiting for Big Chiefs season 18 Tom 3 years in December. Last time I looked at my account I saw that I had ordered him, the middle of December 2019.
Never really thought about it until recently but I hope they have Tom’s Signature already for these figures. (He’s not getting any younger).

Coleman there’s a lovely picture of Tom signing the ‘Demon Quest’ prints at home. He’s lost a bit of weight but the old Tom is very much still there!

Hello Doug, I saw a photo of Tom at Home signing all the Hornets Nest sets.
Booboo wondered if Tom had signed the Demons Quest sets at the same time.
I don’t know, but it sounds plausible.

No Coleman it’s a different more recent shot of him with some signed ‘Demons Quest’ prints. He looks well which is always good news!

Learnt from last time. Not going to pre-order, but will be getting once it is cheaper. Interesting that this includes another signature from Tom Baker. Maybe Richard Franklin’s could be in Serpent Crest if he’s able to.
    Very cool looking cover.

Booboo mentioned before about the Signature, thinking these could have been signed at the same time as Hornets nest. Makes sense really.
