    SO COOL!

The New 3.75 Inch Action Figures Look Great! I Also Like The Idea Of The Interconnecting Playsets! So Far We Have Seen Two (Weeping Angel Set And Daleks In London Set) Of The Four Sets To Be Released. Hopefully One Of The Remaining Two Will Be A New Console Room Set! Also Like The New SFX Daleks But What Inch Are They?

I had another theory about clara

think she is the valeyard but a female one who is born on trenzalore once the question is answered, then she is split across time and space, banished and weakened, this causes the doctor to regenerate,so could clara be the female valeyard

Interesting, but I think the writers have written out the Valeyard.

  • Time lord

    January 26th, 2013 - 8:06am

Off topic but I had a theory about clara
I think clara is the twelfth doctor or a version of him, splintered across time due to something in the regeneration process, the doctor arrives on trenzalore and somehow his name messes with time causing him to regenerate and him/her to be split across the universe, his name is dangerous cause it is something to do with time and once said his future/clara is split across time

    • McGann is the Doctor

      January 27th, 2013 - 9:14pm

Yeah, cause the Doctor is really going to go back in time and flirt with himself and pretend not to be the Doctor.

No evidence that would imply this whatso-ever except the fact that clara is so intelligent and charasmatic.

  • Trenzalore 64

    January 25th, 2013 - 9:26pm

For some reason when looking at the mashem of the bronze dalek i think, that perhaps the paradgm daleks have been pushed aside and this means that the bronze daleks have taken the lime light again, I like both the paradgm daleks and the bronze daleks. But if it came down to me choosing which one i wanted to stay, I would choose the bronze daleks!, sorry paradgm there just much cooler that you!.

      January 26th, 2013 - 2:34am

I’m not too happy about it, and not just because I like the Paradigm Daleks better. It makes the redesign pointless and disregards the fact that the show is about change, be it Dalek, Doctor, TARDIS, companion, head-writer, or Cyberman.

    • Trenzalore64

      January 26th, 2013 - 11:43am

I understand, but there has been a lot of videos on youtube that have been nagative towards the new Daleks, i like the design, its just i remember the bronze Daleks more, and i have hardly seen an episode focused on the paradgm.

    • whovian

      January 26th, 2013 - 12:16pm

I’m with you, Trenzalore, bronze Daleks all the way, been hoping the Paradigm ones would grow on me but it hasn’t happened.

    • McGann is the Doctor

      January 26th, 2013 - 12:40pm

Good for you, it means that deep inside you have good taste !

Why bother with them, just get the REAL, horrible Daleks ❗

    • Dalek The Supreme

      January 27th, 2013 - 4:18am

Matt Smith received alot of hate when he became the Doctor, but they didn’t try to write him out of the show. I liked the bronze Daleks, but they had their run, but they should’ve been retired in Victory of the Daleks. It’s almost as bad as if Steven Moffat had brought Tennant back in the season finale just because all his fangirls wanted him back.

    • Dalek The Supreme

      January 27th, 2013 - 4:21am

Wait a second, did you say there was no episode focused on the Paradigm Daleks?? After they emerged, they took center stage through the rest of Victory of the Daleks! A Paradigm Dalek chased the Doctor and his companions throught he museum in The Big Bang and even shot the Doctor! How is that not focused on the New Paradigm Daleks???

    • Trenzalore64

      January 27th, 2013 - 3:33pm

Because with episodes like the journeys end, the bronze daleks have were more focoused on ,and the paradigm daleks in victory of the daleks were not even around for ten minutes, the big bang the paradgm dalek that was chasing the doctor was only around again for a few minutes, so far these daleks have been cameo and very little has been focoused on these particular daleks, like i have said before,I love the paradgm to bits, but we have not been delivered a single full episode where the paragdgm Daleks have been the focused enemy.

    • McGann is the Doctor

      January 27th, 2013 - 9:12pm

I think the FATLEKS look ridiculous, and they have never even killed anyone, unless you count them using the turrets on their little Dalek ship, which is quite indirect.

Moffat never intended for them to replace the Bronze Daleks, they were to be a higher class of Daleks.

I donot regard Victory of the Daleks as cannonical because 1.) it’s embarassingly aweful and 2.) The FATLEKS kill the old Daleks and say they are obsolete when they are later seen to be working together under the same overall group of Daleks as Moffat intended them to ❗

    • Dalek The Supreme

      January 28th, 2013 - 4:44am

I think their larger size and jagged-edged eyestalks make them more intimidating and the colors make them stand out.

Like it or not, Victory of the Daleks IS canon, wether you like it or not. I thought it was good. And you kind of contradicted yourself there. You said the never directly killed anyone, yet you admit they kill the Ironsides. They didn’t kill them because of their travel machine, they killed them because of their impure DNA

    • McGann is the Doctor

      February 20th, 2013 - 12:43pm

They have never killed anyone, killing other Daleks DOES NOT COUNT because they are not sympathetic and they are the same race. As for their colours, well they look rediculous.

There is no point getting invested in that new design because they never incorporated the functions that it was meant to have (the neck is designed to subside so the FATLEKS can get through doorways) and theye were meant to have interchangable weapons that flip out of the hunchback, but they never used this so now they just look silly ❗ Complete waste of design.

    • Dalek The Supreme

      February 20th, 2013 - 12:52pm

I’m just as allowed to like them as you are to hate them, you know. I never heard anything about the neck section subsiding, besides, it would make more sense for them to blast through the door. They haven’t used those weapons YET, there’s always the future. Though, thinking about it, I think they do look better as heavy weapons Daleks leading the bronze ones…

    • McGann is the Doctor

      January 25th, 2013 - 2:28pm

It would also be cool if they had Doctor figures that weren’t necesarily based on the episode the Dalek is from.

That way, we wouldn’t have to have another copy of the same 5th Doctor figure from Resurection of the Daleks, for example.

    • Dalek The Supreme

      January 25th, 2013 - 2:42pm

    • Davros Flatley

      January 25th, 2013 - 4:46pm

I am more interested in the 7th Doctor one I hope its a cream coat with solumn head with Remembrance Dalek or Special Weapons Dalek.

    • Dalek The Supreme

      January 25th, 2013 - 11:56pm

I’m hoping for a Renegade Dalek (Remembrance of the Daleks), metallic Dalek Drone (Asylum of the Daleks), and the Dalek Time-Controller (Big Finish Audio Adventures: Lucie Miller/To The Death)

    • Dalek The Supreme

      January 25th, 2013 - 11:58pm

And for Doctors, they should have 3rd Doctor in orange jacket, Season 17 4th Doctor in his hat, Season 21 5th Doctor also in his hat, 10th Doctor in brown suit with EoT head sculpt, and 11th Doctor in his long green coat

    • Droney

      January 26th, 2013 - 1:28am

    • McGann is the Doctor

      January 26th, 2013 - 12:38pm

Even if they ARE in TRU, it’s ruddy hard getting there.

I believe pertwee’s jacket was orangey red.

The 4th Doctor should have his new scarf sculpt from the City of Death set, 6th Doctor should either be without his coat (as you see in Mark of the Rani) or with the new waistcaot and bigger hair from Trial of a Timelord part 1, we’ve had the exact same 6th Doctor figure so many times now, please do something diffrent with him ! 9th Doctor should have his black jumper 10th Doctor should have the purple open-collar shirt ❗

    • Dalek The Supreme

      January 27th, 2013 - 4:25am

Agree. And 6th Doctor should be Trial of a Time Lord: The Ultimate Foe version. 😀

    • Davros Flatley

      February 20th, 2013 - 11:52am

1st Doctor – Daleks Invasion of Earth figure (tweaked)
3rd Doctor – Death to the Daleks variant
4th Doctor – Genesis of the Daleks figure with different head sculpt
5th Doctor – Hatted Eleven Doctors set figure
7th Doctor – Remembrance of the Daleks (different scarf paint job + solumn hatted or unhatted variant)
8th Doctor – Dark Eyes (Big Finish)
9th Doctor – Eleven Doctors set (new shirt)
11th Doctor – Series 6 red bow tie variant

    • McGann is the Doctor

      February 20th, 2013 - 12:39pm

Turns out they will not be any retools, so the only difference will be the colour.

In that case, I’m glad they didn’t give him the red because they would have had his 1986 outfit with his 1985 hair-do.

11th Doctor I hope is a hybrid of the christmas Doctor (that jacket) with the Series 6 wave 2 (new hair sculpt and has the pale blue shirt with red bowtie. The worst thing would be if they just released the Series 5 figure unchanged 🙁

    • Dalek The Supreme

      February 20th, 2013 - 12:45pm

      My hopes are:
1st Doctor: Dalek Invasion of Earth 2-pack figure and Dead Planet Dalek from the original Dalek Collector’s set
3rd Doctor: Red jacket repaint with Death to the Daleks Dalek with accurate gun
4th Doctor: City of Death Set figure w/hat and Destiny Davros w/black chair
5th Doctor: Resurrection figure w/hat and Resurrection Dalek
7th Doctor: Solemn headed cream jacket w/at and Renegade Dalek w/accurate mesh
9th Doctor: 11 Doctors set figure w/different colored jumper and either weathered bronze Dalek or Imperial Guard Dalek

    • Dalek The Supreme

      February 20th, 2013 - 12:46pm

11th Doctor: Either blue bowtie and white shirt or long green coat and metallic red Dalek Drone w/retooled back section

    • booboo

      January 25th, 2013 - 10:56am

that right, all new series figures from now on will be 3.75″ – but without this change in direction you might not have had one at all

    • Vector

      January 25th, 2013 - 11:09am

Haha, well I’m not getting one anyway now, am I! That’s a shame. They look great, and it’s a smart move by them financially, but after the money and time I’ve spent on the 5 inch line, I can’t start all over again. My Wife would kill me. I also stopped collecting Marvel figures when they changed scale. Bit disappointing, to be honest. At the end of the day though, they’re just toys and people will buy them and I wish them well. I just will not be one of them. Bummer.

    • McGann is the Doctor

      January 25th, 2013 - 12:50pm

Congratulations on the wife, but that is sad about not getting more figures.

I’m hoping that they will make an electronic Tardis console room and lots of good Doctor figures so I can have a collection at my mom’s house, cause my 5″ collection is at my father’s.

Having them together would not work ❗

  • Dalek The Supreme

    January 25th, 2013 - 3:37am

Thinking about it, I’m not sure if I’ll be able to buy both scales. I don’t get alot of money anyway, and I can only buy figures online. Besides, there won’t be any Classic figures in the new size (As of yet). I guess I’ll stick with the 5-inch, despite how great the new scale figures look. 🙁

    • McGann is the Doctor

      January 25th, 2013 - 10:17am

That’s unlucky, you should remember that the 5″ line is genuinely better, but if you were to get 3 inch figures keep them seperate of the 5″ ones.

    • Dalek The Supreme

      January 25th, 2013 - 2:01pm

I was planning on having the 3.75 inch figures on my desk and keeping my 5-inchers on my shelf. Guess I won’t have to worry about that now.

    • McGann is the Doctor

      January 25th, 2013 - 2:23pm

It’s your choice, but before you make that choice I would recommend waiting until these are released, which is in five months time, and see what you think of the full line up.

A lot of Doctor figures would have me sold, as would an electronic Tardis room 🙂

    • Dalek The Supreme

      January 25th, 2013 - 2:41pm

There hasn’t been anything official yet on the inside of the tardis or the tardis with figures, but there is a tardis in the post above scaled to these new figures, although I’m unsure if the doors will open as they did in the Previous tardis playset. A tardis interior is likely though as it is a new design and most previous console sets were popular.

Looks like the Dalek’s eye doesn’t move and there’s no slot in the guard bit around where the eye joins the dome. Apart from that these look good.

actually it does say they are production samples, so maybe they are doing a movie dalek, but just to show they have painted a chase dalek. i recon we should have a proper movie dalek by when it comes out.

I wish they did do a chase dalek movie! They have already done the daleks and the dalek invasion of earth so why not the chase! It would be awsome but the only bad thing is Peter cushing is dead! Maybe they could do a look alike?

Sadly cause the Dalek Invasion Earth movie didn’t do well the Chase movie got scraped.. 🙁

it is a movie dalek, the original series never had a blue, gold and silver dalek, like that one.

    • DOCTOR WHO ONE

      January 25th, 2013 - 8:24am

Auton 101 – There have been gold and silver Daleks.

Day of the Days and Frontier in Space featured a gold Supreme Dalek, and Death of the Daleks featured silver Daleks.

Blue Daleks have only been seen in the new series being the Paradigm Strategist Daleks.

i have seen nearly all classic daleks episodes so i know, but a cushing dalek would be good. and when i meant blue, gold and silver i meant those colours into one dalek, not single colour daleks. anyway, none of those prototypes are going to make the shelves, the last wave there wasnt any from the prototype sneek peak.

this will more or less be the line up

    • auton101

      January 25th, 2013 - 7:23pm

the daleks i would get is the supreme from invasion of earth, and supreme from resurrection, i dont have any interest in the new series figures. and the other classics i have. but i hope they change at least one dalek to another one. i would think they could get the rights to make a cushing dalek. product enterprise got the right to original who and the cushing movies.

The one with the blue head was an old prop Dalek from one the Peter Cushing Movies but it had no base and the lights on the side the head were changed. You can see it as a Guard Dalek in the Chase. But the makers of the toys decided to give it a base cause they felt it didn’t look right.

Looking at the 3.75 inch figures, it’s a wonder to me why everyone was so upset about them now. I will definately be buying them, and I hope to get all of them, though it’s kinda unlikely.
I hope wave 2 has Amy, Rory, Dalek Drone, Strax, Vastra, and an Ice Warrior (If they’re returning)

Character Options, in a press release last year, said that the new 3.75″ range would not be repeating characters from the 5″ range unless they were seen again in the new episodes. That rules out previous companions. The odd returnign monster may be likely though.
