THE ASYLUM OF THE DALEKS
When the Doctor, Amy and Rory are captured and brought before the Parliament of the Daleks, they naturally fear for their lives. Expecting to be exterminated, they are surprised to be asked to save the Daleks, Humankind has somehow managed to enter the Dalek Asylum – a planet where insane and unruly Daleks are dumped. A spaceship has crash landed rupturing a hole in the planet’s defence shield. If humans can get In, then Daleks can get out!
Plus there’s at least one survivor; Oswin Oswald has sent out a distress signal. Facing his most dangerous enemy, the Doctor and the Ponds must enter the Asylum, rescue Oswin and stop the breach before any insane Daleks can escape into the universe. However, the Doctor discovers a heartbreaking truth and realises not everyone can be saved…

October 2nd, 2014 - 6:42pmwell the revenge of the cyberman set was the same price. and comparing that to the impossible set which is 30 pound to but comes with 2 figures and after that comparing the price with the dalek set in b and m which had 3 daleks and sold for 12 pounds.Thinking about it your right about what you said and it comes with no accessorys.

September 12th, 2014 - 5:13amThere was actually a Supreme Dalek in the Asylum, it’s the Drone who doesn’t fit. However, I’m happy we’re finally getting metallic-colored Paradigm Daleks (Though the should have put the Drone in the two-figure set with the Doctor and saved the Strategist until this set, since there was actually a Strategist in the Asylum, too).

Hahaha and then there’s just for some reason Matt Smith with Jammy Dodgers and all kids are boosting Steven Moffat’s profits as well as Character’s – etc. Hahaha. Can just imagine Moffat saying ”Look into my eyes , try not to blink – you will Obey me- buy the new Smith era figures!”

July 21st, 2014 - 9:15pmI don’t remember seeing the Supreme Dalek inside the Asylum and from what we’ve seen in the recent trailers the Paradigm Daleks are not coming back.
I get it, they weren’t popular but at least give a narrative reason as to why they’re no longer around rather than just having them wink out of existence. I would prefer it if they at least kept the white Supreme Dalek, the blue strategist and the red drone since the metallic shine they have in Asylum makes them look much better.
A New Dalek Paradigm
July 22nd, 2014 - 12:21pmThe remains of the Paradigm Supreme from the Wedding of River Song can briefly be seen when Rory first wakes up the Asylum Daleks and from the promo images there was also a dusty Victory style Strategist (non metallic). There were no metallic Drones in the Asylum however so why we’re not getting a clean one is a mystery to me.
Sadly though it does look like the Paradigm have been dropped and if they are used again, which I doubt now, it won’t be in any meaningful way.

July 12th, 2014 - 5:54amI don’t remember seeing any “rejected” stamps on any of the daleks. An accurate figure would have missing “eggs”, shredded panels, and weathered body. And there weren’t really any supreme daleks in the asylum. But then again, these are just my super-nerd nitpicks and I’ll probably buy them anyway.

July 17th, 2014 - 10:19pmSome of them had reject stamps they just weren’t that visible and there was a new paradigm supreme dalek seen in the asylum. Personally instead of re-releasing old figures with new paint jobs I wish they’d do something more new like the new paradigms in 3.75 inch scale or with the adjusted skirts scene on the dalek parliament ship, a strategist in the correct dark metallic blue not the sparkly thing they released.

and for these Daleks to be classic and new series Daleks, and for 1 new and 1 classic dalek to be SFX (different sounds)
I’d also like like a Parliament set, including 2 metallic red drones (1 SFX), 2 metallic strategists (1 SFX), 1 Supreme (SFX), 3 bronze Daleks (in their more accurate darker bronze colours used by the 3.75 Daleks, 1 SFX)

1. Oswin Oswald, Oswin Dalek and Dalek Skeleton
2. Clara Oswald, Dr Simeon and The Eleventh Doctor
3. Clara Oswald, Cyberman and Porridge
I know it would have to be a brand new sculpt and each set would cost around £40, but it would be worth it.
