Doctor Who and the Carnival of Monsters Audio CD

carnivalDoctor Who and the Carnival of Monsters: A 3rd Doctor novelisation Audio CD

Katy Manning reads this exciting classic novelisation of a Third Doctor TV adventure.

The Doctor and Jo land on a cargo ship crossing the Indian Ocean in the year 1926. Or so they think.

Far away on a planet called Inter Minor, a travelling showman is setting up his live peepshow, watched by an eager audience of space officials. On board ship, a giant hand suddenly appears, grasps the TARDIS and withdraws. Without warning, a prehistoric monster rises from the sea to attack… What is happening? Where are they? Only the Doctor realises, with horror, that they might be trapped…

Interesting. This was originally coming out after An Unearthly Child, which has no availability.

Carnival has a fabulous cover; to those who love the Target covers way. Glorious primary colours encapsulates Target very well…

Thanks Booboo, had “it” in my Amazon basket for over a year, but your link provides a newer version, which I may have missed otherwise. Hopefully it will drop down from £20.

I agree Chris Achilleos produced a distinctive range of covers which captivated this fan in the pre video days when there wasn’t much merchandise at all..I remember we competed to see who could get them first…I do remember we complained a bit about the wrong sort of cybermen on some of the book releases though 😀

Suppose it would have cost to much to get John Hurt to read the War Doctor stuff…might have contemplated buying it then.
