June 4th, 2011 - 1:30amWhereas The Silence are completely different creatures/monsters/aliens/forgotten what I was talking about, but it will come back to me… Ah, yes The Silence – now their heads don’t rotate 360, their mouths open as you’re looking at them; therefore we have two variants – it might work with swappable heads; but I’m not a big fan of swapping on head things, and besides it would look so much neater having two Silence flanking The Doctor…

May 30th, 2011 - 3:54pmthey should do what they did with toby zed. they made a toby with markings, and a toby without markings. that was good for scene recreations (if you do them at home) they should do the same for jeniffer. 1 normal jennifer, and 1 ganger jennifer. but they really must do idris and rory! and they should do a siren, a glow in the dark 1, like the gelth from series 1. they should do a single corridor of the Tardis, that would be good for scene recreations! they could even make the bowl that the flesh was stored in!! that would be really cool!!!

Anyway, I’ve seen each episode about 6 or 7 times each and have not seen any elephants… Are you sure you weren’t watching Dumbo 😀 (pink elephants on parade…) Oh, it might be a distant cousin of the Judoon – but we won’t see that (whatever it is) til later in the series, maybe after the 2 month break…

Want to see more figures from series 5 – at least a Dream Lord and a Saturnyne, maybe an Eknodine or a Father Octavian (Cleric) – I’m sure there will be two versions of Rory, as he wears the Roman Centurion outfit in Xmas Ep and Ep 7 💡

I was just wondering as I am spending Half-Term week there and wanted to know whether I’d be able to get my hands on anything (Obviously not the figures above though as they are not out yet).

May 27th, 2011 - 9:42pmDoctor Who does get broadcast in France, although they are about a year behind due to dubbing. The Eleventh Doctor’s first series finished in February. I don’t think they will get much merchandise there though, there was quite a bit of trouble trying to get DVDs of the stories if I remember rightly.

May 26th, 2011 - 4:35pmI reckon this is a good enough first wave. My favourite is the Doctor in Stetson, but the Silent with mouth open comes closely after it. I agree with many other comments; the Ood is frankly a con, and Amelia isn’t as good as her exclusive Doctor Who Experience variant.
Also think the Doctor’s bow tie could be a bit more blue. Can’t wait till they release Rory!

May 26th, 2011 - 11:48amnice first wave but you always get some figure releases that dont complete a story.i.e- whats the point of figures like laszlo,brannigan,fracesco the vampire etc.. if they can,t include other figures from the same story. ithink character and underground could backtrack and release more full story sets as well as individual ones.

As for this first handful of figures, we better be getting some of the Series’ COMPANIONS such as Amy, Riversong, and half a dozen Rories.
I hope Character make: The Pirate Captain Avery, Idris (the Doctor’s wife) AND a figure of the Doctor’s clone from Episode: “The Almost People”. And hopefully the Doctor with red bowtie From “The Doctor’s Wife”.
But hey, I’m not incharge of what they decide to make at CO, I can merely hope they hit the right buttons!! 😆

I would get either one but i would get the doctor who experience one because its limeted edition. I will also try and get the Amelia Pond night dress aswell but either is fine for me. But I’d really want to get two doctor who experience amelia’s so i can put one on ebay and it would probably go for £60 so i can buy all the series six figures i want.
