Rory Williams 5″ Action Figure Red Shirt, Blue Vest

Doctor Who 2012 – Rory Williams Action Figure

Amy Pond’s fiancée who, on his stag night found himself whisked away in the TARDIS. After defeating the Saturnynes and the Dream Lord, Rory was killed saving the Doctor’s life during a battle with the Silurians.

However, his body was absorbed by the time energies leaking across time and space – resulting in him never having existed. However, his essence was placed into an Auton replica of himself in Roman times and after briefly reuniting with Amy, he accidentally killed her.

To restore her, the Doctor placed her in the Pandorica and for two thousand years Rory stood guard over her, the legendary Lone Centurion. When time was finally rebooted, Rory became human again, married Amy and once again joined her and the Doctor in the TARDIS.

Recreate scenes from Doctor Who with this incredibly detailed and fully articulated 5-inch Rory Williams action figure. One supplied. For ages 5 years and over.

Don’t have this but have the exclusive release. It may not look exactly like Rory, but it’s still a great figure!

Read DWM’s version of the story last night (technicly it was this morning) that post 2005 toys will never be 5″ again.

Does this mean that they will make a 3 inch David Tennant and Christopher Eccleston and there is NO CHANCE that there will be any 5″ exclusives for Matt Smith’s era.

How can they leave us hanging with no Minotaur, Doctor in Longcoat, Dorium, Headless Monks, Riversong or Amy from Series 6, Handbots and plenty other EXCELLENT potential figures ❗

    • Dalek The Supreme

      January 7th, 2013 - 4:50pm

Who knows? They may release them in a wave with some Series 7/Season 33 Part 1 figures.

    • McGann is the Doctor

      January 15th, 2013 - 4:30pm

      I hope so !

Or better yet, some 5″ exclusives of them !

      March 10th, 2013 - 11:00am

yeah they should of done more peg dolls because the peg dolll soldier actually looks quite cute then scary

      April 19th, 2013 - 10:40am

There’s really no point in complaining about size change now as the decision has been made and most likely the figures have already gone into production. I will say this though if these new figures don’t sell well it might just mean the end of the figures altogether,so I’d suggest we buy them, better smaller than none at all.

Got this figure for Christmas. Silly of Character Options thou, cos they packaged the figure I now own with his buttocks facing forward with the rest of his body.

I thought he had an odd looking bulge for a groin until I realized what had gone wrong with the figure, so I twisted his waist so now his buttocks and groin are now the right way around on his body, and turned his legs round as they where facing the wrong way round too.

Was a bit funny thou 😀

Pity that Rory is the last of the 5inch new series figures 🙁

But at least we finally have him in action figure form 😀

    December 11th, 2012 - 3:21pm

My exclusive version arrived yesterday and was SO GLAD there were no production faults with it.

Also glad to have the exclusive, because it really is rediculous how it is exclusive to the Doctor Who Experience and BBC shop. I live in Northern Ireland, imagine if I couldn’t buy online ! I’d have to settle for the innaccurate version ! ❗

      December 8th, 2012 - 6:22pm

maybe in 3.75 inch , they arent making anymore 5inch figures , except classics

    • McGann is the Doctor

      December 11th, 2012 - 3:19pm

Not only that, but for 5″ new series they had stopped making actual sets.

Unless you count the exclusives, or those poorly selected Toys R us multi-packs which minus the accessories like Idris’s cube.

    • The Whofan101

      October 27th, 2012 - 4:14pm

It’s very similar to what he wears in Vampires of Venice, only without the heart and photo of him and Amy on the shirt

    • McGann is the Doctor

      January 15th, 2013 - 4:31pm

Maybe it’s meant to represent his series 6 red checked shirt with the dark navy body warmer.

But they’be done the colours far too bright so it looks nothing like it.
